The hotel met all expectations. It was very clean and had a character you don’t find in chain hotels. Location is great, just off Canal Street, just feet from the Sheraton. I dealt with two desk clerks during my multi-day stay. Nesha and a gentleman that manned the night shift. They couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly.
The Pelham Hotel was a gem right off of the French Quarter. It was just a two-block walk to the Canal Street streetcar and many restaurants but it was quiet at night, which was essential with our 9 yr old traveling with us. The room on the fourth floor was clean with a large bathroom stocked with Grown Alchemist toiletries. When we arrived in the room, the cute Victrola radio was on and tuned to a local station playing music, which was very welcoming. The staff was super friendly and made breakfast reservations for us at The Ruby Slipper (excellent breakfast). The only drawback was that the hot water took a solid five minutes to warm up in the morning, but once hot, the shower pressure was great. I would definitely return here!
The pros: location, friendliness of staff, and nice accommodations, room seem newly updated This could be a four-star hotel, but lacks a few things. First off, our room was extremely nice and had a mini fridge as well as a Keurig coffee maker. Hot shower but takes a few minutes to warm up. The bed was comfy, AC worked well. The negative was that we chose a queen inside room which was fine, but the lighting in the room was horrible and very dark. If the lighting was better, we would choose this room again. I would suggest getting a room with a window. The lobby is small. No ice machine but have small bags of ice available for free. No gym nor pool, but we wouldn’t use those anyway. The hotel has an authentic New Orleans feel. Very convenient that the Ruby Slipper is just next door and connected to the hotel. You can get priority early bird seating there (the restaurant stays slammed), if you let the hotel staff know the evening before. We love the location. Very close walking distance to the French Quarter. We would definitely stay here again but would choose a different room. The staff is amazing.…
We came to Pelham hotel for a quick weekend trip. The front desk office was helpful and kind even with all of our requests. Nesha at the front was kind and on top of it. Would recommend this hotel for visitors!
This hotel is beautifully designed and the service staff is the best. Clean and friendly environment. We were very comfortable and felt right at home! Highly recommend if staying in New Orleans and want to be close to all the city has to offer.
Let's start from super convenient location, 5-7 min.walk from French Quarter and Canal Street where you can catch the trolley or shuttle to go to Mardi Gras World that you can't beat! Room were nice and extra clean with comfortable beds , fridge and a coffee maker which is all you need when you travel! Stuff was kind and helpful every time. I will definitely stay there again when I go back to NOLA!
The ladies, Miss Keenya and Miss Nesha are absolutely AMAZING! They always take the best care us. Always making sure we have all the items we need and the best hospitality!! LOVE THE PELHAM HOTEL!! ♥️♥️♥️
The hotel is close to everywhere. Staffs are friendly. I stayed at the studio suite which is nice, roomy and clean.it is great for family trip. My complain is that the wifi is weak and I was kicked out from wifi connection often. The water is weak too. It takes long to take shower. Overall, the stay is pretty safisfying.
Location is great and the rooms are very nice, definitely a good spot for a stay in New Orleans. Special thanks to the staff, especially Nesha, who helped me a lot when I arrived to merge reservations and get one room only for my whole stay. I know I wasn't asking for something easy, but everybody was very helpful and kind to me in finding the best solution possible. Thank you again for making this trip special!
This is my go-to hotel here. LOVE the rooms, the staff, the city. Everything I need is just a few steps, or a few more, away! I've stayed 4 separate times, each a great experience. The beds, comfy, and each room has its own personality ~ The staff have been awesome, whatever my need or question it's been taken care of.
