It`s an awesome place that`s near everything. Kind staff. Very clean. Stayed their before and will again. It's old tastefully updated, and quaint. I recommend it to all of my friends. Close to Preservation Hall.

The hotel is located blocks away from Bourbon street, which is great! Since is located in the historic French Quarter, the hotel has the original front of the building and the balcony, which gives the hotel an extra charm. The rooms are renew so you don´t need to worry about that. The personal at front desk and the ladies who...

Great location, close to fun but far enough to be quiet...room was very small. We had room 15 and it was ridiculously small...there was just barely enough room for what looked like a double bed (for two people). I think other rooms are bigger so try to avoid 15. Other wise it was very clean and surprisingly comfortable, very new...

I stayed at the Inn on St. Peter for 3 nights, and it was a wonderful experience. We stayed in an upstairs king room on the balcony. I was looking for a smaller inn with the iconic New Orleans iron balcony look to it, and that's exactly what this hotel is. The rooms aren't huge, but they're very comfortable. The...

Very Clean, friendly staff, nice place to stay. A couple blocks West of Bourbon Street so it's not as loud as others but still within walking distance of all shopping. Bring comfortable shoes if you plan on riding the trolley, it is a distance from that (but we anticipated that). All the necessities are supplied.

Very nice one bedroom with wood floors, nice decor, mini fridge, and comfortable bed. Room was off an interior courtyard and was very quiet. Location was great, just a few blocks north of Bourbon Street at the quiet end.

I stay at the Inn on St Peter every time I visit New Orleans, usually once every two months or so and I love it. The location is convenient for those looking for a bit of nightlife as well as strolling the French Quarter during the day and the hotel itself is super cozy, welcoming and always clean. My only...

Really good location. Room was tiny, but no big deal. Was clean, tidy and comfortable. Staff was gracious and helpful. Room access was convenient and easy. Parking was a little challenging, but that's no knock on the hotel. Really enjoyed it.

The Inn on St. Peter Street was just what I was looking for on my recent trip to New Orleans. It is in the French Quarter within easy walking distance of many shops, restaurants and activities, yet it is just far enough away so that it is quiet and has the feel of a residential section. The staff was friendly...

The staff at this hotel is so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect..about 3 blocks from Bourbon street. It's withing walking distance of neasrly everything, yet far enough away to be nice and quiet. The rooms are on the small side, but absolutely beautiful and rustic. Highly recommend.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
