seems a little old and dated but very comfortable. very good pricing and service was outstanding. great location only 1 block to catch trolley and within walking distance of several restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here on our first trip to New Orleans and this is now our 3rd visit. It offers everything- gorgeous vintage rooms, comfy beds, location is fantastic so close to the Trolley. We book through the Hotel website and get great value for money....More

We stayed two nights. For the price the room was fine and wifi worked reasonably well. The entire state of Louisiana is environmentally unconscious. It shows in almost every establishment. Everything used in breakfast was in planet destroying Styrofoam and plastic that can not be...More

Dear Readers, i am sorry this guest feels how she does about our entire State. I can’t imagine there is not one City, Town, or area that she finds appealing. I accept her Organic Naturalist ways and opinions, but our breakfast service dishes are no...More

I recently stayed here at a very economic price. I chose the Victorian section which was on the third floor but well worth climbing the stairs. It reminded me of places I stayed in Europe. I found it to be a real quiet hotel with...More

Garden District
Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.

We paid about $100 per night. I didn't see a shuttle. I would not reccomend the hotel. It's very dirty. I apologize about the delay in response time. Just saw the notice.
