Nice quality hotel located in the center of the French Quarter. Clean, quiet rooms, comfortable beds, great staff, and walking distance to almost everything you want to experience while here in the city.

The Bourbon Orleans Hotel was lovely and a great location. The staff was very nice. I loved the location of the hotel. Breakfast and lunch was very good. My room was nice and overlooked the pool. Co-workers complained about noise on the street side during the evening/night. I didn't experience those concerns. Parking can be difficult.

Location in the heart of the French Quarter was perfect! Just behind Jackson Square & the Cathedral, near enough to Bourbon Street (yet quiet).Attended a business conference at this hotel. The food was very good, the accommodations were lovely and clean, the staff was helpful & friendly.

We chose this hotel because of its location within the French Quarter. Just off of Bourbon Street, you can walk almost everywhere. The room we had on the 6th floor was spacious, clean and well appointed. The decor in the hotel is so authentically New Orleans yet the amenities are modern. The service is excellent from the front desk, to...

In a really great location, on the edge of the French Quarter, but not where all the chaos is. The staff is incredible, friendly, and helpful. It is pricey, but the atmosphere is great. The breakfast staff was also quick and helpful. The concierge gave me great recommendations for my budget. The rooms were great.

I love visiting NOLA every couple of years, and the Bourbon Orleans is the perfect spot....convenient location, friendly staff, a touch of elegance, and even a bowl of apples. Our room had a few misses, but nothing that damaged our stay. Will be back...

Authentic New Orleans accommodations including great location, price, and service. Loved the balcony view of Bourbon Street and St. Louis Cathedral. Martin greeted us from our car on arrival, made excellent recommendations for food, drinks, and tourist activities, and took care of us throughout our trip. A shout out to Derek as well, for taking care of the valet parking....

Bourbon Orleans Hotel was in the perfect location, close enough to everything, yet quiet too. The service staff were very helpful and accommodating, just mentioning an issue and in 5 minutes it was taken care of. The bar and jazz band were a nice spot instead of Bourbon St. Our first visit to the Big Easy and if we were...

For it's location and convenience and decent cleanliness it gets a 4 star. You're paying for this convenience and historic feel but it's an old hotel. The lobby furniture is looking kinda dirty and shabby as is the carpet. The door jam in the room didn't feel super secure but it felt like a safe hotel. Everyone was nice enough...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
