Neighbourhood
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.

The staff, rooms and food was great! And it is right in the middle of all the action. Close enough to get to all the great sites and Bourbon St. but you were not bothered by all the noise. I had fun!!

If you are heading to the French Quarter this is the hotel to stay in. Just around the corner from Bourbon Street. Great room along with wonderful staff. If you are travelling from the New Orleans airport book the hotel shuttle which is located near the baggage carousels.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Bourbon Orleans. You can't beat the location, and the staff were friendly and laid back.Rooms could have been a little cleaner. It looked like the last housekeeper neglected to thoroughly dust and had only vacuumed the main foot traffic areas.

is parking space ?
They do have valet parking for an additional cost. We arrived via airport and used Uber for all our transportation. It was quick, easy, and very reasonably priced.

Does the hotel offer Airport transfers?
They do not have one. My cousin and I took Lyft for about $30. You will love the hotel!

Hotels near bourbon street
The entrance for this hotel is not technically on Burbon St because the entrance is on a side street. The hotel has frontage on Burbon St and our room looked over Burbon St. but did not have a balcony.

Is smoking allowed on private balconies?
I'm sorry. I can not help...not a smoker Although I can not see why it would not be allowed.

The hotel does have balcony rooms above Bourbon street, the front entrance however is on Orleans St. We,unfortunately, didn't have a view on our stay. I will request one next time. Just know that it's very noisy way into the morning hours. Safe travels.
