I attended a conference that was held here in April of 2017. The conference itself was great. We had about 160 attendees and we were a little tight in the meeting room, but it was adequate. I was on the 6th floor. The rooms were nice, just a little dated and small, but functional. The staff was nice. Nice decor....

The hotel was perfect. Down to location, service and room. We were so happy with everything. This felt like a vacation and I didn't have to worry about anything. The rooms were comfortable. Ours was facing the pool so it was quiet.

This was our first time staying at the Bourbon Orleans. We have stayed at many places in and around the Quarter, and I will definitely be back to stay at this hotel again. It was clean, the folks in the lobby were friendly and helpful. Our room looked out into the pool area, and I even went for a swim...

Enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect. Will return soon. Bathroom could have been cleaner but everything else was great. Roomservice closed too early. We would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

A fantastically conveniently situated hotel on the corner of Bourbon and Orleans Streets. Reception was very efficient and our room was very comfortable. On checking in we were also given 2 vouchers for a complimentary cocktail of $7 off a drink. There was a coffee maker with condiments and complimentary water every day. There is a gym which looked quite...

Nice stay if you want to be in the heart of the French Quarter on Bourbon St. We received a free drink voucher at checkin. The front desk staff were fantastic. Rooms were generally quiet, especially on the courtyard side. Request a room there for the best sleep. Double bed was very comfy for one person. Hotel is 1/2 block...

We had a great time. No food after breakfast. Would like to see more food options. Breakfast was very nice. Not cheap. Beds comfortable. Rooms on Bourbon can be noisy. Back of hotel is quieter. Great convenient location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Waters at main desk is a great thing.

I was in New Orleans for a conference and decided to stay an extra two days at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel. I had a grand time. The Staff treated me like I was a celebrity! Also, the hotel was within a short walking distance to Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, Cafe Dumonde, the Mississippi River, and the Audubon Aquarium which made my...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
