Upon entering our "quaint" room with no place for luggage and one armoire for hanging clothes, we realized that this hotel did not meet our basic lodging expectations. Two people could not stand between the bed and the wall. The one chair was terribly stained and had some sort of crumbs on the seat. I covered the chair with a...

Loved the place, very beautiful and in a great location. We appreciated the staff being willing to check out bags ahead of our check in and get us in a good bit earlier than our reservation at no cost. Such a wonderful stay in a wonderful city!

This place was the cutest! Very welcoming, filled with history and rich culture. Not your typical hotel, the set up is very unique and corkey. Wish we stayed more then one night at this lovely place!!

Very friendly staff, gorgeous lobby and courtyards, perfect location! This was a trip of four ladies coming to the Quarter for the first time to celebrate a 50th birthday and St Patrick's day. We truly experienced the feeling of the French Quarter by staying in this hotel.

Great location in the french quarter a couple of streets away from Bourbon St, Jackson Square and the french market. The staff are quite helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious & they put out fresh cookies & milk in the afternoon. Very clean facilities & pool area. Overall a wonderful experience. Will be back next time in town 😊

I loved the courtyard and gated entry. Extremely comfortable beds :) Staff was very helpful and Justin went above and beyond. Close enough to Bourbon Street without being too close. I only wished they'd had a mini fridge in the room

Great weekend in the N.O. Going back more tours and things i want to do. The cafe de mode for breakfast, graveyard tours, hanging on bourbon street at night, see the lower ninth ward that was damaged so bad.

Spent one night in French quarter. Hotel was very unique to say the least. Staff was excellent. Rooms were ok. Nice little continental breakfast. Easy to get to. Walking distance to all of the quarter.

Not so clean, the sheets were not changed from the previous occupant, and they left an unsavory item behind under the bed. Gross!! The rugs weren't vacuumed and we dropped a wrapper on the floor in the bathroom and it stayed there for 3 days.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.

On the National Register of Historic Places, the Hotel St. Pierre, with its authentic French Colonial cottages dating back to the 1700's, embodies the architecture, romance, and ambiance of a bygone era. “remember this hotel is old and has no elevators - most likely you will have to deal with steps”
 of 5 bubbles EmilyE573, 20 Mar 2017 | Read review
“The carpet was absolutely filthy I would not let a homeless person or a dog sleep on it. There were cobwebs in the corner of the room along with a load of plaster from the walls behind a chair in the corner. The cleaners did not leave us any clean towels or soap or usual items included. They could not be bothered to clean the coffee machine or empty the ice bucket. It cost us over £1500 to say here for four nights what a shame and a disappointment. The paintwork was black on the doors with use and when it wasnt like that it had not paint on at all. I accept that the place is old but this has nothing to do with it. The staff on reception were especially lovely it Ryan! great guy. however one manager wanted to put our valuables in box in his desk draw due to their being no safety deposit boxes left to rent hardly acceptable to us anyway being security officers!”

“If you can't squeeze into a tight space to get in and out of bed, make sure your room is larger than a queen room.”
