Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.

The hotel is nice and in a central location. It's within walking distance of most of New Orleans central attractions, but I wouldn't walk at night. The hotel is fine, but the surrounding areas of New Orleans can be a little rough when the sun goes down. My room was big, clean

I stay at a number of Hilton Hotels. When getting off elevator it had a musty smell and looks a little dated. Room was good and clean no problem there except would be nice to have a chair other than the desk chair to sit in. The biggest downside was 1 morning they ran out of coff

Prior to my stay, I forwarded a priority mail package to the hotel with some clothing inside for my 2-night stay. They erroneously returned it back to sender prior to my arrival and stated at time of check-in that I cancelled my reservation-not true! Dealt with 2 front office m

The water coming from the shower and facet never attained any level of 'hot'. It was warm at best and made for chilly shower. There is an odd mildew smell in the first floor. Perhaps due to age of the hotel. I asked to see the old theater, but was given the run-around as to wheth

Visited this Hilton Hotel late Nov/early Dec 2018. The whole experience was terribly disappointing and promises regarding compensation have not been met. Terrible housekeeping service - room not serviced, no clean towels, no tea/coffee........ no idea. Come on Hilton, once upon a

Which floors are consider executive floors? RC
Hi- I apologize for the late reply. The higher floors are the executive ones. Ask for the executive at the desk. The breakfast is so worth it and the view is fabulous.

We will be checking in this weekend. How do you request a room that is not used for people with pets?
Some Hilton properties offer "PURE" rooms; I would inquire using that terminology. That said, during my stay, I did not see any pets.

Hi, what's the difference between the king and the king deluxe?
King Deluxe should be a corner room. I've stayed in both types, and the Deluxe is nicer, e.g., bigger, great window on two sides, and a larger bathroom, but you need to determine whether that's worth the price to you. The higher the better, too, as you get a bit better view.
