Our stay here was simply amazing. The location was within walking distance or short driving distance to most of what we wanted to see. The property has a stunning decor and the rooms are very clean. Alberto, Willie, and Lashawn each are very accommodating and genuinely kind. Felt like we were at home with friends. Definitely returning.

Great stay. Quality staff. I enjoyed the upper deck on my stay at HH. It's in a quiet area that is walking distance/short cab ride away from the bustling areas. Complimentary water coffee and fruit at all times. The water is infused with fresh lime and lemon which makes it especially good. I think I would stay there again.

The Henry Howard Hotel is in a quiet neighborhood with friendly staff. The hotel is within walking distance to St. Charles as well as Magazine street shops. Our room was spacious and generally clean. When we arrived, parking was a little scarce, but spaces eventually opened up. Prytania Street is a busy street, and so that complicated parking, but generally...

I happen to book through Hotel Tonight and was pleasantly surprised to find this Hotel was named after one of the Architects who desinged the wonderful buildings in New Orleans. Thew staff was super friendly, but what I liked the most was the books in the lobby/lounge about Henry Howard which informed me about the history of the city's architecture....

Henry Howard Hotel is such a beautiful and quiet hotel in a convenient location, close to Magazine St. and St. Charles. The rooms are so cute and spacious, with the perfect amount of NOLA flair. The staff is incredibly friendly and loving - we spent the better half of an evening just hanging out with them in the parlor. The...

We went to New Orleans for a wedding in the Garden District and Henry Howard was the perfect home base. The room was thoughtfully designed, linens were soft and comfy, amenities were nice, furniture and decor were lovely, bathroom was huge. Staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed coffee in the front room Sunday morning.

We stayed at HHH for many years when it was a bed and breakfast. Now it is under new ownership and has been completely renovated. The staff, to include management, housekeeping and grounds maintenance were all so professional and helpful. The place was spotless and the decorations first class. A special thank you to Brandy for making everyone's Mardi Gras...

First time in New Orleans and we stayed most of our time here followed by a shorter stay in the French Quarter. This is not a full service hotel by any means. It is really just rooms with a small lounge/ reception area and limited drinks. Coffee and juice are provided for breakfast. But our room was spacious and well...

This hotel was absolutely amazing. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. The ONLY thing that didn't go right or wasn't perfect about our stay was that our room key cards stopped working several times a day. It was annoying to go up to our room, have our key not work, and have to go back downstairs and get it...

Dear Melissa F, Thank you for taking the time to write such a helpful review. We believe the guest feedback is the most valuable tool we have for improvement. Sorry for the inconvenience with the key card getting deactivated. This sometimes happens and we also find that when key cards are too close to peoples cellphones it will knock them...

Staying in Garden District

Neighbourhood Profile
Garden District
Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
