I want to start by saying that if it were not for Brian and his amazing hospitality, personality, and recommendations, our visit to NOLA would have not been as wonderful as it was. Brian immediately greeted us and started filling us in on all the haps in the area and while getting to know my husband and I was how he would come up with recommendations and how he would speak about the history there in New Orleans. You can tell he loves his city and hearing him tell us about it made us love it just as much. He even pinpointed some recommendations on a map for us and helped us understand the layout of the city. Brian was definitely a huge part of making our experience in New Orleans an incredible one. He also makes a killer old fashioned 😉 The Hotel is a Henry Howard home converted into a hotel. I loved the decor, it was an antique but modern take of the history in New Orleans and the style there. It felt like we were in New Orleans plantation home while staying there, part if the experience. Very light and airy and the windows in our room were spectacular. Looking out the window from our room you would never think downtown buildings were right around the corner, there is a beautiful oak tree right in front of the window and as you step out onto the porch (almost feels like your sneaking out, very Romeo and Juliet) you have a private seating area where you can enjoy your in-room coffee service that comes with a worm locally baked muffin, delicious! The Graden District is Beautiful, walk through it and take the guide that HHH has put together. Very interesting. Just thinking about Henry Howard Hotel makes me want to come back as soon as possible.

Brian and Suzanne, thank you both for making our stay at Henry Howard Hotel wonderful. This was our first time staying there, and we will definitely be back. So nice to stay in a historic place that is beautifully done. The beds were so comfortable and hospitality impeccable.

The place, the atmosphere, the history, the room were all amazing; but the staff made the stay. Brian was the man on top of every need and want possible. He made a good French 75 for my wife and a killer old fashioned for me! Unlike corporate hotel, he really made you feel at home. Giving historical perspectives on the city, to insights on local neighborhoods and fare. Beth was prompt on every request and was really nice even when we surely overwhelmed her with request. We have family in NOLA and come often. There’s no doubt this will be our place to stay year after year. A block away from St. Charles and a few from magazine, you have ample shopping and food options. Thank you the Henry Howard Hotel and thanks again to the staff - you really made our stay memorable. Luke and Lexy

The Henry Howard was the perfect place for my out of town family to stay during my wedding. My husband’s family stayed there as well and we had the place to ourselves after booking almost all of the rooms available. The style is New Orleans traditional and I love the antique furniture throughout the hotel. The staff jumped into action when city restrictions changed at the last minute and affected our wedding plans. I can’t thank Suzanne enough for being so flexible and helping us adapt our plans so that the whole day wasn’t ruined. Brian was also amazing at accommodating all of our family’s requests and was the best bartender. My husband and I will definitely make the Henry Howard our go-to staycation spot and will recommend to all out of town guests. We have such wonderful memories of our stay. It will forever hold a special place in our hearts as such an integral part of our wedding weekend.

We visited this hotel in January for a family wedding. The hotel was so clean and welcoming that we felt right at home. The staff was professional, courteous and so accommodating when last minute changes occurred with the wedding. Brian and Beth went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Beth even went back to our room after we left to see if my daughter had left her videogame (which she ended up finding). We don't get to stay in hotels too often in NO since family lives there, but this is definitely one that I want to come back to and enjoy the walking tour and all the area has to offer. Thank you for helping make the weekend memorable for me and my family.
