Everything was great: towels, HBA items, front desk service, staff, clean, great bed and view. We decided to not be in the French Quarter for a change. We ended up parking with the hotel because on weekends it's tough to get a spot on the street near the hotel.

I was in New Orleans for a conference earlier this month. This was not my first trip to the city... more like my 8th or 9th. It was my first stay in this hotel, though. The location could not be better for conference-goers. Literally across the street from the Grand Ballroom of the convention center. Even when I've attended conferences...

Thank you for choosing to try out our hotel on your most recent visit to New Orleans! We couldn't be happier to hear that you loved our location, comfortable accommodations and Mike's outstanding hospitality. We do apologize for the trouble with the water but we're very pleased Mike was able to assist. We hope to welcome you back soon for...

This Marriott should be your first choice when booking a hotel for a meeting at the New Orleans Convention Center. Not only is it directly across the street, it is more intimate than the large hotel that typically is the "host hotel". The Starbucks and restaurant in the hotel are great conveniences. The best part is the accommodating and friendly...

The room was nice, and it was clean. There was wifi due to me being a SPG member. There was a refrigerator in the room, but I did not see a microwave. The bed is really comfortable and firm. Also there is a complimentary robe in the closet. The room had a nice view from the 16th floor. The hotel...

My Daughter and I traveled to NOLA for the weekend and we booked this hotel on Priceline. We had first booked just one night then decided we wanted two nights. She called the hotel and they seemed confused about adding the room. We went ahead and booked a second night through Priceline. That was the only negative thing I have...

It's a Marriott, much like a Marriott in any city. Rooms were clean and staff was lovely. If you are looking for something with that "New Orleans" feel, this isn't it. However, the location is convenient.

So with local taxes etc, our bill for two nights was about $700. Nothing about this hotel was worth $700. Sue the valet was amazing and helpful and kind when we arrived and helped us check our car in. She was the highlight of the hotel. The Starbucks in the lobby was very quick. And that's about where the good...

I wanted to recognize a few outstanding associates during a recent conference I attended: Mykhaild, Tess, Frances, Lofton. They were great to talk to and always went above and beyond to take care of us.

Very clean property. Located just across street from convention center. Room was a nice size. Small pool area. But still a nice respite from the typical back ground noise at street level. Bar was fun. The BEST breakfast buffet in town. Guys cooking are on top of there game. Whatever you request. They will handle. Concierge was good. Check out...

Had the occasion too spend 3 nights here for a business meeting and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel, food and meeting facilities. Staying in Arts District / Warehouse District

Neighbourhood Profile
Arts District / Warehouse District
Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing assortment of galleries, boutiques, and studios having moved in and set up shop throughout the disused warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much of the art you'll come across here is local in scope, ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old brick warehouses are modern structures of steel and glass housing large-scale cultural institutions of national prominence such as the National World War II Museum, the Contemporary Arts Center, and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. Just as eye catching as what’s on view inside the galleries and museums is the chance to see your ship come in at the Julia Street Cruise Terminal, which serves as a wistful reminder of the city’s historic maritime prominence.
