Honestly, I was concerned about staying on this side of New Orleans however after this stay I might not go back to the main tourist area by the mall/canal street. The hotel was lovely with all the room needed for my party of 5. There are two different bedrooms and the large living and kitchen was wonderful. I agree with the other reviews concerning the noice but the noise dampers down when you get into the room and it didn’t affect my sleep at all. The pool and jacuzzi out back was nice. With only about 20-25 rooms in the whole hotel it feels like you are staying at a bed and breakfast . Plenty of places to eat and bars around the place. I have teenagers and an elementary child and this place/area wasn’t a problem. There are several parking slots adjacent to the property but please be prepared to spend almost $30 per day in parking. Only residents were allowed on property through the Secruity door.

Frenchmen Street is a ‘local’s Bourbon Street’ where real New Orleanians gather to listen to live music and grab a drink. This hotel offers a great view of the revelry on Frenchmen Street! There are two balconies available for viewing the action at a distance. Clean, newly decorated guest rooms. Earplugs are a must for light sleepers. Loved it!!

Gem in the French Quarter. Music from the balcony, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and full kitchen. I could stay here a week. 💕💯💞 Right in the middle of it all, we could walk to nearly any place we wanted to go with little trouble. Highly recommend this location!

Book at your peril !! We booked for 2 nights for September 2022 as part of an American road trip. The booking was made in November 2021 where as per the booking conditions a non-refundable deposit was taken off our credit card, 2 weeks later I received an email saying that my card was not valid so I duly updated my card details at their request, imagine my shock when 2 payments were then taken. Eventually 1 payment was refunded.Now 3 months later I’ve just received an email saying that they cancelled my reservation back in December!!! How long does it take to send a message??? They clearly miss-advertised the rooms too cheaply and now will not honour the bookings made at that price. Ascend Hotels are rip off merchants as previous reviewers have stated, wish I had listened to them now as we have a big gap now in our travel plans.

We had a confirmed reservation, and a few weeks before our stay, they emailed us to cancel our booking. No explanation, no apology. We called Choice Hotels and they said they weren’t oversold; they just wanted us to re-book at a more expensive rate. Reservation call center refused to help, and the hotel itself isn’t returning our messages. Think twice before booking here… They might do the same to you.

Amazing location. Directly on Frenchmen St surrounded by clubs, restaurant s and exciting nights. Sitting on the balcony is like being inside the clubs. The sidewalk show is great, so is the music. Our 3rd floor facility (was wonderful. Living room, fully equipped kitchen and bedroom. 2 large TV's. Coffee maker,ice maker. Very clean and surprisingly quiet. Nice pool and hot tub in the rear. No elevator but the staff helped us get the luggage upstairs. Very friendly,helpful staff. Allowed us to store our luggage after we checked out. Comfortable furniture and bed. The nightlife on the street is one big party, but not wild like Bourbon St. The hotel used to be condos so there are maybe 20 apartments available. Some are suites and all are fully equipped with kitchen, microwave, fridge with ice maker, coffeepot with coffee supplies provided. Highly recommend. It's less then a mile to Jackson Square. Highly recommend

Due to the location and proximity to the bars and clubs, it’s incredibly noisy. My room was on the front of the property and impossible to sleep until the bars/clubs closed! The area is terrific, but the noise is a dealbreaker. The room was big, but dirty.

Amazing stay with amazing service!! Everyone was extremely helpful during the check in process, and they checked in on us multiple times. The suite was very clean and had a full kitchen. Location is close enough to walk to anywhere in the French Quarter you want to go.

We absolutely loved the location. Easy walk to Bourbon St and other locations. Nice big apartment with plenty of room for 4 adults. Good amenities. Clean and comfortable. Nice veranda to sit on and 'people watch' late at night. Highly recommend.

Great location, rooms are huge, front desk was extremely friendly! Will be back. Pool, hot tub full west in kitchen, what more can you ask for. McKenna was great! Jessica was fantastic, and really the entire staff. Very clean property!
