The staff can't be blamed for the horrendous shape this property is in. The room smelled so much like mildew that I was actually concerned with breathing it in. Also my bed felt like a platform bed with a 3in piece of foam on it. Not a real mattress as far as I could tell. Horrible. Good location but not...

Quiet, centrally located, very friendly and happy to help staff. Good, hot free breakfast. With in walking distance to many of the things most people want to do in New Orleans. Rooms well stocked and very clean.

Decided to spend 3 days in NoLa for my birthday. The availability of rooms were slim, that hotel was the best price to quality available. The hotel is 2 block from Canal and Bourbon. Closed enough without the noise and the inconvenient to live in the French Quarter

Standard HGI with free lemon water and coffee at lobby. High rise convenient to French quarter but not to Morial Conv center. Comfy rooms with most necessary amenities. Wait for tepid water at 15th floor

Had spent 3 nights during the week for biz. The reception is at the 11th floor and there was no indication of that, you enter from the parking! The rooms are comfortable but on the second day 'forgot' to clean my room. The personnel is kind and at your beck and call, they all remembered and called me by name....

Valet was prompt, expensive but prompt everytime. Need to go to the third floor to check in, then back on the elevator to get to your room, this extends the check-in time by a few minutes. The front desk folks could not be any nicer, as a matter of fact everyone we ran into while in New Orleans was very...

We were traveling down south and stayed here for a few nights. It was clean, quiet and cool on a hot summers day. The roof top pool was beautiful allowing stunning views of downtown New Orleans. Would definitely stay there again.

The staff is very welcoming, inviting. They gave excellent suggestions as to where to go while in NOLA. Very informative. Made very good suggestions where the locals go to eat, etc. The hotel room was very spacious, king-size bed, sitting area, large tv, roomy bathroom with lots of counter space, very clean. Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
