the staff is very professional, nice and patient...actually sweet...trust me, we had a problem with our first room and the staff made it all better...the staff stopped my type A behaviour in its tracks...(but also stay away from studio suite 711). Corner of Tchoupitoulis and Poydras....perfect walking distance from the zoo of the quarter and in the warehouse and arts...

If you like Lucy's, Barcadia and Kangaroo, if you go over to the left one block, next time try the Ernst Café (kind of a favorite amongst our staff). Now, thanks for the kind words about the hotel and our staff. While I do have some pride in our hotel, I have much more pride in our staff. Every hotel...

I stayed in the hotel around Christmas time 2016. Hotel is located in a good spot close to the French Quarters and the port. The suite has all you need even for longer stay. All the kitchen stuff including wine glasses.Rooms and hallways are clean and well maintained. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel has a limited space parking...

Thanks very much for the kind comments. We try our best to make our guests as comfortable as possible and I am very proud of our staff. I wish you had let us know about the door. They are set to close anytime you leave and if they do not, we need to adjust it. But I hope that the...

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel! We stayed in room 408. The closet door was not attached and fell on my head when i grabbled it to open ot up. At check in we found that they had us checking out one day sooner than we needed to. The young lady told us she...

I am very sorry to hear that you had so many issues during your stay with us. I can assure you and you can see by the other comments, this is not the norm. These type of problems are things we rarely hear. I can assure you I will bring this in our staff meeting to be sure we make...

I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. I don't know if anyone explained the housekeeping to you before you checked in. The Staybridge brand was created as an extended stay brand. That is why the rooms are larger and have kitchens. It is also the reason for housekeeping being set up the way it is. For...

I have stayed at a few Staybridge Suites and they are generally similar. This one is well located for conventions with just a few minutes walk to the Hilton. The rooms are standard Staybridge but this one has had an update to soft furnishings and carpets but not the bathroom or kitchen unlike some which have been modernised so they...

Thank you for having stayed with us. You are correct that we did just have a renovation year before last. Please, if at anytime, and not just in our hotel, you feel as though something is not clean, please let someone know so that we can address the issue immediately. Glad to hear you liked the pancake machines. We substituted...

Both times my husband and I have stayed at this property, we've had the same problem...inadequate parking choices. Both times, the regular lot was full and we had to park in a public parking lot across the street from hotel. Problem is that you have to pay for parking, but have no guarantee that you will have a place to...

I understand your issue with parking. Unfortunately, our parking lot is limited, but is usually enough to take care of our guest who drive in. But on some of those times that there is a big event in the city, parking can be a challenge. If we had a better solution we would jump on it. We just don't know...

Honestly, we weren't expecting very much here. We figured it was a nice, centrally-located place to spend a couple of nights in New Orleans amid a larger road trip. This was easily among the most affordable options in the area. The location was outstanding--most of the French Quarter was within easy walking distance. The room (we had a suite because...

I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay with us! Our rooms are about 25% larger than the average hotel room and it is nice to have the kitchen even if all you use is the refrigerator and microwave for the leftovers. I will pass on you kind words to our staff and hope that you get a chance to stay...

Happy with our decision to stay at Staybridge Suites. The two bedroom suite offered a generous amount of space for our family of 4. Our room was very clean upon arrival and the beds/linens/pillows were very comfortable. Housekeeping came every day and made the beds, collected used towels and garbage. I do agree with other reviewers that the towel situation...

We really appreciate the comments. I want you to know we are working on the towel situation and should not be an issue on you next visit. I agree that the two bed room suite is perfect when traveling with the family. My wife and I always try to get one when we are traveling with the grandkids. That they...

We stayed at Staybridge for 6 nights the week before Fat Tuesday. The room was clean and large. We asked for a quiet room and we got one at the end of the hall which we appreciated. Thank you for your comments and you can see we do read them all and try to address the concerns to make our guest feel comfortable here. The Staybridge brand is an extended stay brand, meaning that it is designed for guests who generally stay for an extended period of time. With that, as a brand, if you are here...

Staybridge is located just outside the French Quarter within walking distance. It is convenient and functional. Nothing fancy but welcoming. Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
