I can say a few good things (the room was clean and the water was hot), but the bad things overwhelm them. Chief among them is that we returned to our room late one afternoon and found the door to our room was wide open. We wound up leaving the next morning and never saw the owner, Zak (his unavailability...

We really enjoyed New Orleans.great owner and staff.clean room, plenty of towels.good breakfast good location.owner went out of his way and let us do our laundry after a good soaking from the New Orleans rain.would strongly recommend not too far to the quarter but far enough for a bit of peace.thanks Zac and staff.

Positives: - Great location, close to the French Quarter, but removed enough from the drunken chaos! - Staff is extremely nice! - Great décor and comfortable furniture! - Breakfast was acceptable. Costco food. Could be “fancier” but it kept us from being hungry. Needs Improvement: - Zak never showed his face or if he did, I didn’t know who he...

I stayed at the Balcony Guest House with a group of nine women in town for a bachelorette party. The staff was super friendly and the accommodations were great -- I loved all of the balconies. The location is ideal. It's within walking distance of the French Quarter, but the neighborhood is quiet and charming and absent of the touristy...

We stayed in the Balcony Guest House this weekend for my bachelorette party. It was perfect! The living areas, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean. The location was AMAZING - right in the heart of French Marigny and short cab ride to Bourbon Street, Magazine Street, and Garden District. It was bustling during the day but quiet at...

The people who run this are VERY nice that is why is pains me to write this but guests need to know about some of these items before they book. Parking: There is no on-site parking at the site. "Free parking" means street parking and street parking is very hard to get if you come back after 10pm near site,...

We are sorry you were not aware that we are located blocks from the French Quarter and Mississippi River, the river that made America's early progress possible. Without the river traffic and than the freight train transportation to export America's great agricultural bounties, we would not be the prosperous country we are today. By the way, in 42 years of...

This charming bed & breakfast was exactly what I wanted. Historically located within walking distance to the french quarters, but without the noise. Family owned for years. Staff was friendly and helpful. The food and service were great at the Silk Restuarnt. Rooms are small, but accommodate 1 or 2 people comfortable ly. Families would need the suites.

I stayed in this guesthouse for 3 nights, together with my husband. The location is great, in Marigny and in walking distance of Bywater and the French Quarter. The room we stayed in was nice, quite large with a comfortable bed. There was a small garden we had access to. The sheets and towels were clean, but the rest of...

This was our first time staying in a B&B style place and we loved it. We got in late but Zac was great about keeping in touch with us to give us instructions on how to access our room. We went down for breakfast and coffee in the mornings and Chef G was SO nice to gave us a map...

My wife and I stayed here at the beginning of August. The room was dirty. There were to go boxes of food left in the cabinets from the previous guests. We did not have a garbage bag in our room the entire time we stayed. The drawers were filled with roach droppings. I guess housekeeping services were non existent. Our...
