Everything was great, I really enjoy myself and the food was good and the parking was great and so was the winning. It was a great date night out for my husband and I. I don't know what else can I say except it was a successful night and I would recommend it to my friends and other families members...

Great rooms, great service, plenty of slots and table games. Perfect location because it is walking distance to French Market, Natchez Steamboat, Aquarium Of The Americas, Museum Of Art and Bourbon Street.

THe French Quarter is historical, cultural, and fun, but for a different New Orleans experience, head to Harrah's. Great concierge. Stay at the comfortable, clean hotel and walk easily to a large, welcoming casino with a range of slots, tables and active poker room. Very friendly staff and good buffet, with other restaurants within footsteps. Small Diamond Club rooms fills...

Have come to love our stays at Harrah's, New Orleans. Was there when the casino first opened and it continues to improve it's atmosphere, customer service and overall experience.......could not be happier to be returning there again later this month......

For us the location was perfect--close to the Mississippi (ferry to Algiers Point), Jackson Square (street music included the kora, African harp), St. Charles streetcar (looking at amazing homes in the Garden District) The casino had both favorite slots (like 88 Lines and Buffalo) as well as new ones to try. The casino beverage selection included most everything--my favorite was...

I love staying at Harrah's New Orleans. It is pretty far if you are going to the Superdome but since I was there for work meetings at the Riverwalk & Convention Center it was perfect...just a short walk away. It isn't attached to the casino but it is right across the street & connected by a tunnel in case you...

Nice hotel our stay was very nice. Good room and well kept up. The casino is across the street and has a wide range of restaurants. There are restaurants next to the hotel. It is centrally located. We choose it because it was a short drive, not a bad walk to the World War II museum and slightly longer to...

The rooms are spacious, clean and plenty of things you need. The rooms are quiet. The views are great. The service is friendly. We had a Jr. Suite and there is plenty of room and coffee with a small fridge. There was also a dining table with TV and couch and chairs. We had a nice view of the gulf....

Great place to stay, rooms are beautiful and very clean with free in room coffee (love to wake up to coffee). It's also great to have casino connected to hotel, makes a person feel safe at night when finished gaming and returning to room. Location of hotel is awesome if your wanting to visit the French Quarter

Gaming is fun. It's atmosphere is very good. Dealers are friendly. Drinks served quickly. Parking is free if you play for thirty minutes. Comps are very good as well. You can walk to the French Quarter from the casino.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
