We stayed in a 2br, 3bathroom lockout unit with 2 living rooms and kitchens with another couple. It was centrally located to every thing...Bourbon Street, shopping, attractions and dining. The hotel offers free activities and the staff is super accomodating.

We went to New Orleans to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and we stayed in Suite 514 of The Quarter House Resort, which was located following a maze of hallways and short stairs to the end of yet another hallway. Very quiet location - which we loved. We had a 1 BR 1 BA with kitchenette (refrigerator, DW, microwave and...

My granddaughter, daughter and myself went to French Quarter for my 75th birthday. The resort was very clean and friendly. We stayed in a king one bedrom with a kitchen. The free tour of New Orleans was very informative and helpful, I highly recommend taking it. The tour helps with your itinerary. We had the time of our lives. I...

I loved this hotel. We stayed there the last weekend in August for my husband's 30th birthday. First I will start with the room. We stayed in the 2 bed 2 bath suite, and the room was nice. It was private for both couples and the suite-wide surround sound was great. The only issue was that we didn't have anything...

We stayed in Suite 323, which has 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, nice kitchen, and even a stacking washer / dryer. We were impressed with how clean and comfortable the unit was. There were exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and tall windows in the living and master bedrooms. Unfortunately there is no view out these windows, but the lace curtains...

Visited in mid August 2015 and had 2 great rooms on the 4th floor overlooking the courtyard/pool. Loved the room layouts, cleanliness, location to Bourbon Street, and the top-notch customer service, with a special "thank you" to Nikki and Dina.

This time share was one we have never visited before but would highly recommend. Excellent location, amazing customers service and very clean and spacious. Front desk was always a pleasant experience.

This is really a time-share condo but we have friends with two unit weeks and we have stayed here twice. This property takes up an entire city block and finding your way through the property can be a little confusing but it is not that bad. Our rooms were cleaned daily and they leave coffee for the coffee maker but...

Stayed for a week at the Quarter House and even though the AC broke we were quickly accommodated to another room and given cash towards a meal out on the town. Wonderful staff and resort! Highly recommended. Can't wait to go back to New Orleans!

The staff was fine but not all that friendly. The layout was very strange but it was in an old building. The room was dark, with red wall paper and mirrors.Only two windows in the living room but none in the bedrooms. The pool and courtyard was very small. Our room was large. We were right above the jazz club....

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
