Upon check-in I got bumped and showed up late and Aramis, made sure I had my key and swiftly explained the private elevator operation added security for guest loved it. The elevators had old movies on and the misses and I would not want out , lol. Rooms were amazing, some street noise but we aren't in Kansas anymore, lol....

The Saint is in a perfect location with easy walking access to the French Quarter. The staff is exceedingly friendly. The lobby and room design are consistent with the boutique hotel aesthetic, some fun furniture and oversized mirrors. However once ensconced in the comfortably sized room we noted a couple of things that disappoint: the mattresses aren't as comfortable as...

This hotel has a cachet , it has charm. The room are big, bathroom are very nice. We stayed 2 nights, Friday and Saturday and it was quiet , to our surprise. The lobby had people playing pool and there was great music . This is a great hotel. The staff where excellent. You feel at home at this hotel....

Okay, I'm going to be perfectly honest, I would not feel comfortable bringing kids here or probably my parents either. This property is more of a couples getaway than a family friendly hotel. The property itself is well maintained. The room was extremely clean, quiet (something that you do not always get in a French Quarter Hotel) and well appointed....

I stayed at this hotel and although I really liked the rooms and the vibe of the hotel, I think some parts of the property are lacking. The decor and theme was cool and modern. The hallways are a little dark though so be careful when coming back from a crazy night on the town. There wasn't really an obvious...

At Canal and Burgundy, staff and concierge are great. Convenient to French Quarter and Chamber St. streetcar. We had a room on the 3rd floor convenient to the Fitness Center. Hallways are very dark and lighting in the room is not sufficient. The room did not have a refrigerator, only a cooler stuffed with $5 a pop for a water....

In some ways, the Saint is very much an perfectly fine modern 4+-star hotel. The room we had was small, but very clean and quiet. Robes were better than most hotels. Bed was comfy. However what made this stay above and beyond was the staff. Our very first contact was Special K-- the bellman. From the time we met him,...

This hotel was a lot of fun. An "adult" get away. We did, however have to deal with our bed moving every time the couple next door started going at it. It really made the whole room shake - an interesting experience. But it was fun and we would certainly recommend this hotel.

Pulling up to The Saint Hotel, we were promptly greeted with a large smile of a member of the valet staff. He opened the door, helped us with our luggage, led us to the lobby where we were greeted by more smiling, helping faces eager to help us check in, despite our 6 hour early arrival. The staff were all...

I booked a room for my wife so she could celebrate her 35th birthday and mother's day by relaxing in one of the most chic hotels I've ever experienced. I also had a photographer come and take a few photos of her in various areas the hotel. The management and staff were beyond accommodating, providing champagne in the room and...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
