Well located and with a very grand entrance and foyer the hotel fails to deliver after that. The room I had was an odd shape and not very spacious. The breakfast was just average and limited in choices. My check in experience was poor but afterward I found the the staff excellent.

Definitely glad we picked this hotel for our stay in the French Quarter. It was a great location right at the end of bourbon street so you were nice and close but able to sleep as the noise was minimal. Room was nice and clean, but the last night we decided to use the in-room breakfast before leaving for the...

Hotel is clean, very nice lounge and restaurants. Rooms are nice with ample work space and great Wi-Fi connection. Only issue... no sundries shop; but there are 3 drug stores within 200 feet of the hotel.

Hotel was great. Front desk was very helpful. Room was spacious and right around the corner from Bourbon Street. House keeping was quick and efficient. Would definitely stay here again when in New Orleans.

I am an Elite Espire IHG Member, Stay at IGH properties 100+ nights per year. Have stayed at this hotel many time in the past. Great location and nice property. One compliant is check-in and check-out. When I arrived at the hotel, no special attention was provided to the IHG Members. Perk of being a frequent patron of IHG is...

We stayed here three nights and enjoyed our stay. The lobby is all white marble with crystal chandeliers and very clean looking. The rooms are very clean and housekeeping is very good and very attentive. We had a nice, clean room with 2 double beds with a big round window facing Canal St. We had a spacious room and enjoyed...

Great location at corner of Canal & Bourbon. Room ok, but musty smelling. No cable for entire stay (overheard other guests mentioning they had cable issues, too). Small, unwelcoming lobby, long lines for checkout & no quick option (like drop & go). Indifferent front desk service, but banquet service was attentive. Just average for a business hotel but great location...

The hotel had been remodeled since we stayed there last and it looks lovely. Cannot say enough nice things about the ladies on the desk. They were great. Our room (405) was great. It overlooked Canal, bed was super comfy, water pressure great, lots of fluffy towels, good lighting, really nice housekeeping. Only issue we had was no cable on...

This is the third time that I've stayed here. Love the location. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Place feels safe and secure. They have a swimming pool on top of the roof, small but could be fun.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
