The hotel is in a great location, and has nice common areas, and secure parking. With that said, our bathroom in room 403 was beyond "dated" -it was in ill repair. The photos will show the cabinet under the sink had a spot that actually had paint peeling away and is soft to the touch and rotten. The shower had...

The hotel sits at the end of the French Quarter on a nice quiet street, which sometimes you need as it's not exactly a quiet city! The hotel has a lovely swimming pool which gets lots of sun in the morning. The breakfast was very nice. Great pancakes. Yes, the hotel is old but so is every building in the...

Was the best time of our trip, the food was great and the entertainment was amazing. They had great interaction with the audience and helped a lot of couples celebrating weddings or an anniversary with a special dance and a bouquet of flowers.Would highly recommend trying this one when you are in Honolulu 😀👌

This is a very quaint and historical looking hotel. It's close to the market to grab a baguette in the morning. It's also close to where the locals hang out and listen to some jazz or blues on Frenchman street. The prices were also pretty decent given the location. The room was very nice and clean. It had nice furniture...

We wanted a boutique hotel and Le Richeliue reflects the French Quater in style. Excellent location with in walking distance or trolley to all the highlights we visited. The room was small and the bathroom needs serious updated. The toliet continually ran and with only one outlet it was not conducive to getting ready in the morning. Not to mention...

We stayed at Le Richelieu and could not have asked for a better experience. The rooms are large, clean (spotless!) and the staff is so kind and helpful. The hotel is in the heart of the French Quarter and walking distance from just about everything - the French Market, Bourbon Street and Frenchmen Street, excellent restaurants, tours and shops. After...

Tired decor , stains on bedroom carpet , dated bathroom , no coffee in the room , a bit of an odour in the whole place especially the lift and corridors ,a rather dark and depressing room without much natural light. I booked a room with 2 double beds for 3 people when the size of the bed would only...

10**. Absolutely wonderful hotel. Rooms large, clean and elegant. Nice bar/restaurant and pool. Perfect location, by Bourbon Street but without the noise. Clientele is older. No place to hold a Frat Party. The staff was so helpful, patient and accommodating at check in. Housekeepers quiet and did not rush to clean your room. Exceptional experience.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
