We were very satisfied with our stay here. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The location to New Orleans , Bourbon street where all the action is. We enjoyed a lot of good live music here. We also hired a terrific guide Elizabeth through Free tours by foot.

First visit to this property. Was in town for meeting at the Ritz which is attached so super convienent. I had a nice suite on this trip. The rooms are updated and modern. It is a very short walk to bourbon Street and plenty of places to eat nearby. Surprisingly this property does not have a kitchen so your food...

Thanks for your review, Charles. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience at our hotel with other travelers. Although we don't have a kitchen on property, we have found that most guests prefer to do exactly as you did, and explore the many amazing restaurants New Orleans has to offer. We do also have communal microwaves throughout...

The hotel is attached to the Ritz Carlton and you can walk through the Ritz to get to Canal Street which is a main thoroughfare. The Marriott is what you would expect and is kept up well. Be aware though the part of Iberville it is on is somewhat sketchy at night. Travel in a group.

I booked a double-king suite for three adults. The rooms were spacious and clean, which is what we needed. I checked-in on my mobile app, so it made it even easier to get my room key. We were fortunate enough to be on the 8th floor with a view of the street instead of the interior courtyard, and we couldn't...

Leave the kiddies at home. Adults only. Bourbon Street in New Orleans is like a train wreck. Gritty, dirty, smelly, a total mess. But you have to go and see it! It was on my friends "bucket list". So glad we did it!

From the early check-in to check-out this hotel and staff are awesome! Got a very reasonable AAA hot rate. One block off Bourbon Street but never heard a thing. Double king suites are excellent for large groups. Very clean hotel and comfy beds. Didn't pay more for a view which may have been worth it. We had 3 rooms and...

The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. I booked for a king bed room and got upgraded to a suite room, pretty amazing! The hotel is at the edge of French Quarter, just a few steps away from great restaurants and festival.

all rooms are suites. Free wifi was included in our stay. Nice Hi-Def TVs in the bedroom and living area. The way the hotel is set up, many rooms face an interior courtyard, so not much view, but you get sunlight and no noise from the craziness of Bourbon street and the quarter, and the crazy constuction going on across...

We stayed at the Courtyard Iberville twice, both prior and after our cruise. We arrived mid-afternoon on Saturday and had reserved two double king rooms for our party of six. I received an email the evening before to check-in and received a text while in the air that our rooms were ready and to pick up our keys at the...

This hotel was perfect. In a great location near restaurants and bars and close enough to Bourbon Street but without all the noise. The hotel staff were always available as we entered and left the building and always acknowledged us with a hello or a wave. The valet staff were able to direct us how to get to a location...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
