We had a fantastic time while staying at this hotel. We had never been to New Orleans and did a lot of research. We decided that being our honeymoon we would go for the full experience. This was the best choice for that. The front desk staff was so friendly and willing to be of any assistance. Check in was...

Stayed 3 nights and was a great location. Front desk was very accommodating at check in and put us in a king room instead of 2 double beds. If you book a balcony room on Bourbon Street and want to sleep, not the room for you. The bar wasn't impressive because staff acted entitled but food was good. Housekeeping was...

Great hotel located in the absolute heart of the French Quarter right smack on Bourbon Street. Caution - it can be noisy and and crazy on Bourbon Street but the Four Points becomes your respite. Once inside its much quieter and clean. The staff is ultra friendly. Staying at the Four Points keeps you close to all the French Quarter...

The location of the four points is unbeatable. It is right in the heart of the city on Bourbon street. The staff is really friendly; I received a welcome email before I got to the hotel, and was sent freshly baked cookies for being a gold SPG member.

The hotel was very nice. We were not able to get a room with a balcony, which is sad, because I rarely saw anyone on the balconies. The rooms were on the small side, very small bathroom, but clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Our concierge, Greg, was wonderful and pleasant. The restaurant was average. Room...

We stayed here for our first visit to New Orleans. The location is perfect for those wanting to experience Bourbon Street without a commute. The hotel was ok for everything else and not what we have come to expect from a Sheraton Four Point hotel. Some examples: - The Courtyard room had a view of a tiled area which was...

The location of this hotel was perfect for our stay in the French Quarter. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see and do. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small but served it's purpose. We chose to stay on the courtyard side facing the pool and never heard street noise...

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel! Such a great location, right in the heart of it all, but the room was quiet. Pool is nice and the bed was probably one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. I definitely recommend staying here for a great NOLA experience/atmosphere. Short walk to anywhere in the French Quarter and...

We had 3 nights here and the location was as central as we needed. We were close to all the main tourist sites in the French Quarter and River front. Mindful of the likely noise issues we still chose this hotel because of its central location, and we are glad that we did. There is a certain convenience associated with being able to take in the night life but still duck back to the hotel for a quick break or to drop off the camera etc. The rooms were spacious,...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
