My wife and I have stayed here a number of times and each time I am very glad. Each year they improve the park a little more. Last time we stayed here not all of the sites had concrete pads, but this time all of the sites on both streets did have concrete pads. The staff is by far the...

The free shuttle into town was the major draw for us. Pick up is at 9.00 am. The return pickup is at 5.45pm, so it allows a good amount of time to check out the Big Easy. The shuttle service worked really well when we visited- January- the bus holds about 12 people and it needs to be pre booked...

We have been stopping at KOAs for years because of consistency of cleanliness and safety. NO KOA surpassed all others with their exceptional owners, Roberta and Greg, who went out of their way to make us all feel like family. We took the free shuttle to and from the city, which was fantastic. The highlight, though, was when staff member...

We were on our maiden voyage with 37' RV. We found this park clean and very organized. Late night arrival, we were still met at the front office and personally taken to our lot. Location is bit out of the downtown area - cab fair should be about $50-60 (we were group of 6) but the park had arranged special...

On a recommendation from a friend, we stayed at the West Koa, on Jefferson Hwy. Although a little out of the CBD (about a 35 minute cab ride) it was quiet, clean and we felt quite secure. The hosts and staff running the park are very courteous and helping with things. They can arrange and book a number of tours...

We stayed here 2 nights which was perfect for us with kids and only venturing around for 1-1/2 days. There is a nice pool for the kids and those running the place were very nice. Our site was very nice as well, paved and level.

Check in was easy, friendly staff , very help full, the free shuttle was more like a guided tour into the city that we enjoyed . The restrooms and showers were spotless. Groceries a short drive. We drove to start of St.Charles trolley parked for free and paid $3 to ride trolley and buses all day , great way to...

We stayed for a long weekend here, the staff was very nice and friendly, giving suggestions and directions. Unfortunately the main water line broke so there was some flooding but didn't disturb us. It is a 20-40 minute drive into NO French Quarter area depending on traffic. They offered a shuttle twice a day into town but not back..cab ride...

Very clean campground! Excellent customer service! Concrete pads, full hookups. Had a free shuttle to the French quarter in New Orleans and information galore on tours and tickets. Laundry facilities were the best we have seen, clean spacious, air conditioning and very reasonaly priced! Would recommend this highly to all RV or tent campers! Good wifi service!

Very friendly and well organized rv resort. Big lots, help with back in parking, clean laundry, what more could one wish for. We rented a car to go to downtown New Orleans, but the KOA offers a shuttle service to and from the city. It's also possible to buy tour tickets for Grayline tours, such as the French Quarter Tour...

“The downsideis there are constant trains running, but since New Orleans is a port, I guess you can expect the frequent loud train whistles. Also, wasn't crazy about the rap music playing from the neighborhood complex. Neither situation isn't anything the owners can control, but despite the noises, it was still a good value for the $$.”
