I recently visited the Higgins Hotel in New Orleans for a meeting. This hotel takes you back to the 50's in a great way. The decor and style make it hard to just simply pass through the lobby so plan on taking extra time to take it in. Rosie's on the Roof is a spectacular place to wind down after a busy day. The sunset view is breathtaking. If you are in New Orleans make sure to plan an evening here!
This hotel expertly combines stylish vintage 20th design elements with modern amenities and great service. It's a new building, designed and infused with touches from the middle of the 20th century, tying in with the hotel's affiliation with the adjacent National World War II Museum. It's a remarkably attractive and inviting style, with a beautiful main lobby, very comfortable guest rooms and excellent on-site services, including a great rooftop restaurant/bar that offers indoor and outdoor seating. The location is ideal for visiting the National World War II Museum, which is just across the street, as well as strolling to many restaurants and art galleries in the trendy warehouse arts district and also the New Orleans convention center. It's also a quick walk to the St. Charles streetcar line and minutes by Uber from the French Quarter and the Garden District. A very central location and a beautiful hotel.…
During this past weekend, I had the experience of staying at this phenomenal hotel. Although we had a problem with our heating system, Mr. Boyd accommodated us with a new room and he made sure the system worked before moving us! The hotel staff was friendly and very professional! I really enjoyed the stay and will be booking again. If you’re looking for a nice, friendly, and clean place to stay I strongly advise you to stay here you will not be disappointed! Thanks again to Mr. Marc and his staff for a great experience!
Visited this hotel as part of WW2 Museum package and couldn't be more happier. The location is great, views are amazing, food was fantastic, staff was friendly and attentive, building and atmosphere were beautiful, rooms were lovely. No complaints at all. Just an amazingly beautiful place and worth a stay.
I am always impressed with this particular hotel mainly because it's located in a prime area of New Orleans that offers some pretty awesome views from its rooftop bar. Always friendly staff, especially at the front desk.. very pleasant and always willing to answer any questions. The rooms are fantastic! Very reminiscent of a country-side get away. I'm obsessed with the sliding doors to the bathroom. You can tell that major thought went into the details when designing these rooms. Very impressed with cleanliness and it always smells wonderful.
