We have stayed at this hotel several times and have always enjoyed it. Friendly staff and clean rooms. It is within walking distance to many good bars, restaurants and activities. Myles took care of our valet this time and grabbed our vehicle quickly for us when we were ready to check out. Great service!
The staff was awesome. Every person we came into contact with was friendly and helpful. They had great recommendations and advice. The hotel was clean and had a cool vibe, sort of Haunted Mansion. The room was spacious and clean but the bed wasn't the most comfortable. Also the door didnt have a sweep so people in the hallway were loud in your room. Housekeeping is only every few days unless you request but we were able to get more towels very quickly upon request. There is a nice area with food for purchase and a shuffleboard type game and tvs around in lobby. good location. Quiet and 10-15 min walk to french quarter, 5-10 min to riverwalk and casino. There is a mini mart on the corner and a breakfast spot around the other corner (Ironworks).
Staff not at all helpful. The female bartender looked like she is a pole dancer. Stayed 3 nights and never got our room cleaner. Had to call desk for towels and blankets. The little guy with the little hat at the front desk acted like he had a screw loose. Not helpful at all. Paid 5.00 cash for a bottled coke. Then it was also charged to our room. Champagne at the bar must have been the cheapest there was cause it was bad.
We stayed 4 nights, the hotel has great location. Sharon help us planning our tours and was helpful all the time. The staff in general made our stay confortable. Definitely we will stay again at Cambria.
Sharron was beyond kind! She helped make my 30th birthday the most special for my guest and I. She went above and beyond to help mu sister decorate my room. Everyone in my party raved about her generosity and accommodation! Josh at the front desk was also amazing. He was a delightful fun vibe. Great hotel, great location and nicely decorated large rooms. I would stay here on my next NOLA visit!
This hotel is amazing! The rooms are soundproof you can't hear anything in the rooms next to you! The staff is welcoming friendly and helpful! We came for a family wedding My grandkids were in the room next door and I didn't even hear them! So close to the French quarter! One block from Mother's restaurant and the trolleys!
This place is beautiful all around, starting from their entrance which features a small but thoughtfully designed lobby and bar. There is also a back entrance of a similar design. The room was clean and spacious with large windows. Loved the choice of wall paper and art - a great gothic industrial vibe. Service was nice and quick. Fantastic location in walking distance to the French quarter. Situated near a corner store and a casino. Great stay!
The entire experience was great, from check-in to check-out. I arrived at the hotel very early from a cruise; the room was not ready for check-in. My first time in New Orleans, so I took a stroll...the hotel held on to my baggage. Check in went smoothly...very professional and sociable staff. I had a problem with the safe in my room...I went to reception to report the problem; I was back in my room for about 2 minutes before the engineer was at my door...you can't ask for better service than that. The issue was repaired quickly. Upon my departure after a 2 night stay, the receptionist Sharon arranged for my transportation to the airport; when I reached the lobby, the driver was already there waiting for me...again, the service was fantastic!! My first visit to NO was great as far as accommodation; Sharon, with her bad foot ;-) went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. I thank her and all of the staff at Cambria New Orleans Warehouse District. I don't know why I chose this hotel, but I'm sure glad I did. Btw, I travel with a black light...checking the bed and the bath...perfect!!A I do have one negative...when choosing to stay at this hotel, try to get a room on a higher floor. I was on the 2nd floor with a beautiful view of a red brick wall. LOL.…
I was coming into town for a work a convention and thought I might have booked a stay at the Cambria but I could not find any record of it. I called the hotel weeks before my stay to check. The person at the front desk checked and said they could not find any booking. Since they confirmed I had not booked a stay, I thought that was the end of it. Come to find that they have charged my card for the stay that they themselves confirmed there was no record existing. I called the hotel to work out a solution but they said that their hands were tied. Even after explaining all the steps I took, they pretty much told me to kick rocks and they would be charging me for the entire stay that they had no record of booking when I called. Without any remaining recourse, I simply worked with my bank to mark this as a fraudulent charge and they assured me they would be investigating. I would have been happy to work this out with the hotel itself but they were so rude and unhelpful. For every annual meeting I intend to let everyone I know in my field not to book a stay at this hotel. For my organization, I intend to make sure that this hotel is never recommended again for any event in this area.…
The hotel is great!! Renée the lead bartender is amazing! The barback Mikey is ok but he needs to learn the basics without tu running he's mouth. Confidence is amazing but actually drinks is sub standard with Mikey but Renée drinks cause she crafted those drinks. They de best in Nola Cause Renée made dem!!
