Having stayed at many five star hotels in my travels I can say that the Hotel Le Marais was truly a find. We stayed there Thanksgiving week and had a wonderful stay. The service was over the top, exceeding that of many far more expensive hotels. The staff at the front desk - Erica in particular - made every effort...

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Just a block off Bourbon Street and convenient to everything. Comfortable, modern rooms with tons of outlets, which is always nice. Free drink coupon when you check in is a nice plus! Nit picky comment: need to go through their linens and toss out some of their older towels - a couple of the ones...

le Marais feels European in its street setting in the Quarter, with intimate patio and lobby services, full breakfast included. It helped that we had a magical night on the town - but the hotel was right in keeping with the music and food. Great place to stage a visit to NOLA.

We stayed here the week of Thanksgiving - family with teens and my 83 year old mother. It was perfect. The service was fantastic, the location was ideal. I can't believe we could be in the middle of the quarter and yet our rooms were so quiet. The beds were super comfortable. Breakfast delicious and the staff outstanding. We would...

Wonderful hotel and amazing staff. Great bar, and amazing location to everything in the quarter. Even though it's basically on bourbon, the noise was very pleasant and we slept like rocks. Walkable to everything great down there!

This last November, my daughter and I spent 4 nights at Le Marais; we wanted to be in the heart of the French Quarter while trying to avoid some of the noise emanating from Bourbon Street nearby. I say " some" because we had a room with balcony overlooking Conti Street where the hotel is situated so it would have...

The location cannot be better in any regard and, yes, everyone working at Le Marais was very helpful and very kind. Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
