Be wary thinking that because this hotel carries the Ritz Carlton brand that you it measures up to your experience with other. Properties you may have visited in the past while this particular one has the same level of gracious service and all the employees are top notch that being said the physical plantparticularly the bed rooms will measure up...

Perfect Location for the best of it all. Close to the excitement yet removed from the noise and grit. Beautiful Ammenties, Service outstanding. Upgrade to club if you budget allows. The staff knows the answer to your question before you pose it. Spa on site - great for relaxing after walking days. Enjoy jazz music onsite.

Top rate staff and beautiful well kept hotel! The bellman assisted with every packaging issue I had during my conference. Front desk sent tea to my room knowing I was sick with a cold at check-in. We checked in on Saturday, after a short flight from FLL and immediately loved the property. The staff was great getting us checked in and the room was great. We had a 'city' view, which was mostly rooftops, but we could also see a little cool architecture and graffiti :) We ate in M Cafe a couple time and the...

I loved this hotel the most friendly staff ever. The location to everything is a perfect marriage of walking distance and yet far enough to get out of the craziness when you've had enough. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in New Orleans.

The New Orleans Ritz is the perfect mix of elegant and fun. It fits New Orleans perfectly. I stay here every time I visit the city, and I love it more each time. The Club Lounge is exceptional - I highly recommend staying in the "hotel within the hotel" that is the Club Level.

Centrally located, very clean, secure, professional and friendly. Easy access to everything!! The decor was very festive to celebrate the Christmas holidays!! A lot of time and effort went into making the hotel especially beautiful from valet to front desk to check in. Large hotel with very comfortable bed and very spacious rooms.

This is a fantastic place to stay. Spa gift shop staff and cleanliness of lower level bathroom were the only blemishes on beautiful weekend! Thank you for helping my family make great memories. We appreciate the high level of service that you continue to make seem ordinary!

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
