This place is the best place ever! I am so happy with all the attributes it has offered and the friendliness of the staff. The rooms were clean and a perfect size for a weekend get away. I'm more than happy with the prices and it is everything it says it is. Great Stay!

This lovely hotel offered all the ammenities and gave the true "Vieux Carre" charm. The staff was friendly, informative and generous with suggestions on what fun adventures awaited. The room was clean and the staff maintained the space throughout my visit.

I should've known better but I got a room right by the street and the noise from the people & music didn't stop until 5am. Didn't sleep. Triathlon time... It would be a decent option if I was just coming to party. Also getting into the parking area was a tight squeeze.

Ryan, Thanks for taking the time to write. Our reviews make it very clear that we are right in the middle of the live music venues and that our parking is a converted carriage way not appropriate for larger vehicles. Sorry to hear that you should have rethought your position in the hotel. We would love you to come and... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Frenchmen. It was great being in the middle of everything within the French Quarter and only being a 1/2 mile away from Bourbon Street. Loved that their was a private pool/hot tub for guests. Although during our visit, the hot tub never was hot. Rooms are small and you can hear everything going... More

Imichelaou614, Thank you so much for writing. It should be cautioned though that we do not have a hot tub. We have a Jacuzzi within a heated pool, which we do not heat in the summer. We are also not technically in the French Quarter but in the Marigny, with the French Quarter right across Esplanade. Love to hear that... More

I stayed in room 211 Queen loft right over the pool area. This was a great room and overlooked Frenchmen Hotels Pool/Courtyard. I Loved the location Plenty of Fun and Excitement at this specific hotel. It was alittle rough around the edges but definetly comfortable. Staff was great rooms were comfortable for a hangover/fun night out! Everyone was outgoing and... More

We booked 2 rooms at the Frenchman Hotel, but when we got there they said one of the rooms has plumbing issues and they said they would set us up with 2 additional rooms at no charge. That was nice and worked out for us. The hotel was walking distance to almost everything! Just be prepared to hear some Jazz... More

Bryce and Tracey, Thanks so much for writing. We do hope you alerted the front desk to the problem with the door handle. It goes a long way to getting things fixed as necessary, not that a housekeeper should not have noticed and reported it before you checked in. We appreciate you're business and hope to see you again soon. More

Your hotel is one of the best!! Close to great nightlife and food. No need to go to Bourbon St... never left Frenchmen St and had a great time. Beds are comfy, finally regular sized pillows in a hotel! Hot water for shower and an a/c you can hang meat in...excellent.

Hotel staff is helpful and location is good. The hotel rooms are tiny and we were expecting that, but they are very, very small. As soon as we got into the room my wife found a pretty big roach in the closet and I found smaller ones after that. Ok, that was not a big deal for us at that... More

First off, we found the staff to be extremely nice and helpful during our stay. We had the upstairs room with balcony, facing the street. Let me start off by saying I wanted to love this place. Beautiful architecture, Frenchmen Street which is a fun area, and booked a king with balcony. However, when we walked into the lobby, we were really disappointed with how unkempt the place was. I am not talking about the structure, as it is a very beautiful old New Orleans... More

“If you're here to party into the small hours - go for one of the balcony rooms, they're fantastic for feeling the vibe of the Quarter, but will be noisy especially on weekends. (Note: the hotel offers ear-plugs - nice touch :) ) On the other hand, if you want some peace and quiet beyond, say 11pm, choose a room toward the back of the hotel, away from the street itself.”
