Went for the weekend with my husband. Place was beautiful and clean. Drink tokens on the pillow. Watched the Saints/Denver game in the bar. Everyone was very nice and threw flags at the TV. Walking distance to the French Quarter and Frenchman Street. Would definitely return.

Recently stayed at Royal Street Inn for a boys weekend and it was fantastic. Took up two rooms, the Royal Suite and one across the hall. Royal Suite fit four of us comfortably and the room is huge with a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, glasses, etc. Service was outstanding especially the GM Adam who we ran across a number of... I was notified last minute that I had to go to a trade show in New Orleans. I've wanted to stay at this hotel and I was lucky to snag a night in the Royal Suite. The great manager Adam called me a week in advance to tell me that the reservation the night before my stay had been cancelled.... More

I can only review the Marigny Suite, which is unfortunately on the street level. If you are old enough to get the title reference, or if you have a 401k, you should not stay in the Marigny Suite. If you are 24 and need a place to crash at 5 am in a haze of alcohol and mescaline, then this... More

There are only 5 rooms in this Uber cool bed & beverage! The penthouse is one of the best rooms in all of New Orleans (especially for the price!!). There is a bedroom with huge, huge bathroom, a full kitchen, fireplace and second double bed. Dining table and to top it off - a wrap around balcony. A hop skip... More

We stayed this weekend in the suite, sharing the space with two friends. No photos online do this place justice. When Adam opened the door, my husband and I both gasped. I told him immediately I could move in and stay forever. It's huge, with a well stocked kitchen The interior design and art is fantastic, intricately detailed to perfection.... More

My wife and I stayed here this past weekend for our 5 year anniversary and absolutely loved this place! The location is amazing (you're close to the French Quarter AND Frenchman Street plus some nice Marigny food spots for breakfast), the staff are wonderful, the bar downstairs is super fun and much more "neighborhood" than what you'll get in the... located in the upper French Quarter. Super covenant location to the Quarter and Bywater areas. Just the right distance from Bourbon St. (although I stayed away from there). The entire staff there made my stay truly delightful. Upon arriving there where good ole fashion wooden nickels on the nightstand that were good for any drink in the bar. There was... More

Stayed at the storyville suite, it was awesome, and we didn't know there would be a balcony, which was a plus. Had we known about the balcony, we'd have stayed there for all three nights we were in New Orleans.

Staying in Faubourg Marigny & Bywater

Neighbourhood Profile
Faubourg Marigny & Bywater
Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward, the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely residential. Of course, folks around here love to go out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the festivities, well then so much the better! Home to some of the most revered live music venues in New Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining destinations, and a come-as-you-are vibe that’s as infectious as it is alluring, this is real deal New Orleans oozing with southern hospitality and the promise of a most epic night out. For endless opportunities to boogie, to admire row upon row of lovingly restored homes, and to escape the fray of the more touristic parts of town (but still live it up in grand style) head to Faubourg Marigny & Bywater.
