I love a good hotel, especially one that has all the opulence and comforts that most places no longer offer. This hotel is beautiful year round, but if you get the chance to go at Christmas, it is truly unforgettable. The service is spot on; the staff warm and friendly. The rooms manage to look fresh, yet with old fashioned charm. Room service is timely, reasonably priced, always a fresh flower on your table. From the moment you step in the lobby you know you are in for a treat; don’t miss the Roosevelt if you come to New Orleans!

The digital key was super awesome!! It's close to everything. Nola is a walking city, and we were able to walk to downtown and the warehouse district. The French quarter is about an 8 minute walk. The bell hood were so personable. They told us where to get the best food & drinks. We felt very safe. The pool bar was awesome. During the day we drank by the pool and at night we tore up Bourbon street. The entire stay felt like a luxury experience. This will definitely be my permanent NOLA hotel. Also the casino is about a 15-20 minute walk, but you can catch the street car and be there in 5 minutes.

The service cannot beat at this hotel...from your first steps into the property.. Mr. Randy, bellman, is always helpful and pleasant to talk with. Albert was also a big help with our bags. (I may have over packed). Ashley and MJ were awesome as far as check in and concierge services. The Sazerac Bar always has great drinks. This is approximately our 30th trip to NOLA and we have stayed at the Roosevelt more than half of these trips. You can't beat the old school charm and service at this hotel. Thank you all again and hopefully see you in June!

Overall the experience was good but not as good as it could have been. As a Diamond Honors member I was upgraded to a King Suite that was very nice. On the other hand, the information on the website states that Diamond members get $25 per person, per day credit for breakfast that can also be used in a couple other venues for other than breakfast. What THEY SHOULD SAY is that the credit is UP TO 25$/day/pp. I spent only $20 the first day and was credited only for that. On day 2, I spent $77.40 and was credited $50. So the net result was that, for 2 people, for 2 days, according to the website, I should have received a total credit of 2x25x2= $100 credit. But even though I spent less than $100 on food and drinks in the allowed areas, I ended up having to pay an extra charge of $27.40. Also, later in the day after checking out, I reviewed the statement I had received electronically and saw that there were charges for the in-room bar and a movie; however I never watched a movie and did not use anything from the bar. After reaching the front desk, the charges were readily removed. But why were they there to begin with? Bottom line is that the Roosevelt did not meet my expectations.

I am a diamond member. I stay at Waldorf in New Orleans from 12/23/2022 to 12/25/2022. When I checkout and receive the bill, I found that someone else billed to my room. Here's what's happen next: 1. I called them on 12/25 and they refund me. 2. On 12/30, they charge me again for the same bill and I call them, they refund me. 3. On 01/13/2023, they charge me again for the same bill. In this time, I dispute the charge through my Amex. Amex told me that the hotel will refund me. 4. On 01/16/2023, they charge me for an additional $114.70 on my credit card. They also send me a new bill said this is the parking cost. Well I didn't park cause I took Uber to the hotel. I called them and their customer service seems not to take it seriously. They kept me to hold for a long time, I have to hang up and call my credit company to block that merchant to bill on my credit card.

This is not a sponsored review. This is a genuine account of how our stay was. We had an amazing stay at the Roosevelt. Everyone at the hotel was welcoming and friendly. We arrived before the official check in time. @MJ Clark at the check-in counter explained the hotel layout, directed us to the coffee shop so we could grab some breakfast while she made every effort to get us checked in as soon as possible. The room was clean and spacious, and the housekeeping staff was thorough. @Cody and @Don at the concierge desk were knowledgeable and super helpful every time we stopped by with any dining or site seeing questions and even organized a swamp tour for us (more in that later). I’d highly recommend the Sazerac for drinks. It’s a happening place and usually packed with patrons, especially during the Christmas holidays as non-hotel-guests stop by to take pictures in the lobby of the stunning decorations and enjoy a few drinks. @Melissa at the Sazerac was swift, and made awesome drinks - easily one of the best bartenders I have come across. Most places wouldn’t have been able to keep pace serving the number of drinks that were being ordered. She found the time to make sure the drinks were good as she was working on the next batch of 6 drinks. As for the swamp tours - stay away if it’s a cold day. You’ll likely not see any alligators or other wild life. I think the concierge desk should be forthcoming with that info. Probably the only minor nit in the whole stay. Food at the Fountain Lounge delish !! @Juan helped me with a billing question @Roosevelt Mgt: you’ve got an awesome team across the board.

We stopped at the Roosevelt after a fancy dinner on a girls trip - such a beautiful place, and we loved D'idra who helped us decide what drinks to try and also gave us info on other must-dos in NOLA. Thanks, D'idra!

I am extremely disappointed! I cannot believe I spent over $300 a night for this place. There are just so many issues to list out; here are a few ones: - Front Desk Service: Awful attitude! When we arrived around 8 PM, the front desk staff was in such a foul mood, and it did not seem that she wanted to be there. Given that our reservation was booked via points and certificate, it seemed too complex for them to handle, and she had to ask the manager to look into it. (Really?) The manager and staff messed up some hotel credit and gave us the incorrect information to redeem it. Ultimately, I couldn't redeem it; it was a complete waste of time and energy. - Bathroom: We were upgraded to a suite, but the bathroom was so small that you could not close the door as the bathmat could not fit the space while the doors were open. I hit myself against the sink several times! - Staff at Fountain Lounge: Again, awful staff attitude. The two hostesses we encountered at the restaurants had the world's most dismissive attitude. One day, she was using her phone without even acknowledging that we needed a table; and another day, a different hostess looked like she hadn't slept for more than ten days! So any good stuff? Yes, it's close, but not exactly part of the hustle-and-bustle area; and its historical value. I will take my business to a simple Hampton Inn or even Hyatt Centric next time!

We previously stayed at this beautiful historic hotel and loved the central location to all of our favorite restaurants and tourist attractions. We were upgraded to a very spacious king suite with a sitting room and 2 bathrooms. My husband who has a bad back said the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very delicious especially the garden omelet. The Sazerac Lounge was an elegant throwback in time. Jonah was a very personable bartender and made a delicious French 75. All the hotel staff aimed to please. Several times, we were contacted via text if we needed anything. A truly 5 star hotel!

We booked a prepaid stay with our Plat Amex so we got a great deal. Otherwise, I would have likely given this a 2 star. Package included an upgrade if available - supposedly there were none. We received a king room and it was fine for the night. Big bathroom and well appointed. Loved the big shower w/ body jets. The package included $100 resort credit - which was designated to be used in their restaurants and bars along with spa and gift store. Great! HOWEVER, the main restaurant was not included - Domenica, which looked great and we had planned on eating there. So we made reservations at the Fountain. It was fine. As Hilton Honor Gold elite members we also receive $50 food and beverage credit. We had hoped on getting a drink or two at the Rooftop pool bar - HOWEVER, it was closed for the season, even though it says on website - open weather permitting... it was 60 and 70 degrees the days we were there and sunny. So we figured we would use up remainder of credit at the gift store. NOPE - closed both days for inventory!? Even though I never saw one person in the store! Couldn't they schedule inventory in evening or early morning hours? This was busy time between holidays too - a lot of ppl were disappointed. So at check out - many ppl were trying to use their credits and were in Teddy's the coffee shop that does also have a few food options. There were only 2 employees and they were swamped. The breakfast (up to $60) was also included in our package and the Fountain was so jammed we had to wait an hour in line to get seated than no one offered us coffee. And the seating is bad - most is unfit for dining - my chair was so deep in low that the table was chin high for me and I am 5'6", The chairs sat too far from table too - so you had to sit up on edge of chair. For this being the only real dining option in the hotel we were really disappointed. The breakfast buffet was awkward and not well organized. The omelets station had one poor lady who was also in charge of the grit station and biscuit and gravy. My husbands omelet took 20 mins to make and she ran out of plates so it got over cooked and was not very good at all. I tried to serve myself the grits and my hand got burned! The concierge and the valet are on their A- game. The front desk was pretty good - even though my bill was incorrect and took some time to sort out. The lobby is very busy due to the Christmas decorations. There are very pretty but so many outside guests stroll through - hard to get a good picture. Valet is pricey but worth it compared to other options. Good location!
