Great location lots of things to do and see in walking distance. Staff was very professional and friendly. I would definitely stay at this property when I return to New Orleans. Pool looked inviting however it is not heated.

We had a group of 7 visiting New Orleans in June and chose the Dauphine in the French Quarter. We loved it! It has a beautiful little courtyard with pool and really friendly people. It's walking distance to everything in the French Quarter. Would come back!

We reserved a suite in the carriage house. Got there late at night. Rooms were musty and the living room was bleak and dingy. The bedroom was nicely appointed with a new bathroom but the living room was a complete turnoff. Staff gave us another room in the main building (the tower) that was just fine. Location is within walking...

Have stayed here many times over the last to decades. Outstanding staff and beautiful accommodations. Location is very convenient in the heart of the Quarter. Within easy walking distance of the CBD and Frenchmen Street. We always recommend to friends and family visiting the city.

This was my 2nd time staying here but this time I had a problem with a strong marijuana smell by my room and in the hall. I am allergic to smoke which is why I chose a nonsmoking hotel. I complained to the front desk Saturday morning and a blonde lady there she said she would take care of it...

The hotel is located in the middle of it all. Rooms are nice and service very good. If you want to see the attractions or party all night this is a good choice. Expensive but you pay for location. I have one complain though. Breakfast is included but not at the level you would expect for a hotel in this...

Stayed three nights in the Hermann House Premium. Premiums are one room. Great location, close to the action. Bed was comfortable. Check in seamless, and friendly. Free breakfast was good. House keeping wasn't very good at all. Over all nice place, good sleep, great location. Would stay again.

We booked this room thinking that it was the suite with the living room; IT IS NOT. This is a single bedroom with a bathroom in a building across the street from the actual hotel. The room was beautiful and rustic, and its location was ideal. It was right off of Bourbon St. so it was nice and quiet. The...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for two nights. We were a little disappointed when we checked in as we were given a room with a shared balcony that overlooked the parking garage AND was right across from the elevator. Surprisingly the room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was small and in need...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
