We have typically stayed at The Mazarin Part of the Orleans hotel collection. After 9 years of our relationship and 9 years of spending one week a year in new Orleans, we decided to bring our family there with us and get married. I could not get the balcony rooms I wanted for our group over thanksgiving weekend, so I...

We fell in love with this hotel from the minute we saw it! The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean, and it was so close to Bourbon St. Our bed had a Tempurpedic mattress, which means this will now be our go to hotel. The parking garage can be pricey; however, the attendants really go out of their way...

Hotel history was very interesting, but if you're looking for "haunted" make sure they don't send you across the street. If you are looking for sleep stay in an interior room because once Burboun street closes down for the night you get all the traffic and loud car thumping music until 5:30/6:00 AM.

The most welcoming staff and wonderful people . The room was amazing and full of character. Everything you wanted to see was right there and if not the staff helped get you there ASAP . A sweet little gem in the French quarter!!

The staff was friendly and very helpful with anything you needed. The breakfast buffet were outstanding and the pool area was nice and clean and quiet. I will definitely be a returning guest, the hotel had a great location too!

Booked a king room and got a handicapped double that was dirty and not worth 10 cents. It was dirty no view and looks like a 1950's slum. Do yourself a favor and pick another hotel. Only good thing about the hotel was the location. These pics are actually what they called a full bath.

Don't stay here, we had reservations for a king room, and we were told we had a handicapped room. My husband is 6ft 4 inches. The shower is horrible and only reaches his navel. Requested another room, and they did not seem to care.

Staff were great, entire hotel needs to be gutted to get rid of the moldy mildew stench.....all rugs should be removed and not replaced with carpet. I should have asked for a partial refund due to this. I left with a severe cold.....pneumonia.....

Great location, we were able to walk everywhere! Frenchman Street, all around the FQ and into the Warehouse & Garden districts. We opted for the suite, but had a few issues with non-working amenities, cleanliness, etc. For the price we paid, I would have expected more. Decent breakfast, nice pool area, great staff and super location (just off Bourbon Street)....

My husband and I stopped at the bar in the hotel, May Bailey's last year. We had a great time and decided to stay here this year. We're glad we did. Everyone was welcoming from the minute we arrived until we left. We were able to access our room well before check in time without having to ask. The location...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
