Stayed here for a weekend birthday celebration. Everything was done easily through the Hilton app, including check-in and electronic key issuance. Loved that your phone is the key and you can share it with up to 4 people as long as they have the Hilton app too. There was a Mardi Gras ball event on the rooftop patio, which was nice. We didn't pay for it but went up to see the view and chill afterward. Room was decent, bathroom had walk-in shower. Verrry friendly staff! Good location but it's a little bit of a walk to the FQ (about 1 mi). Parking garage across the street from the hotel through SpotHero was less expensive than hotel parking. Overall I'd stay here again if coming to NOLA.
Enjoyed my stay here. The rooftop bar and its happy hour were a win. The rooms are also cool and stylish. For the price, it was definitely a great stay. The only minor complaint is having to go to the front desk for ice but not a big enough issue to not stay here.
The service at this hotel was as good as we found in New Orleans, the location is good as long as you are happy to walk 15 minutes to where most of the central attractions are (we were). The roof top bar is expensive and lacks choice in drinks but has a great vibe and view of the city. We did not eat in the restaurant as it looked expensive and there is so many nice plays to eat nearby. There is some lovely bits of decor both in the room and on the hotel grounds, particularly liked the lamp (see picture). This place is great for 2 to 3 night stay. It does lack something though, the beds were ok but not super comfortable and apart from the beautiful greetings at the front door there is a lack of WOW.
I Did A Early Valentine Day Surprise for my fiancée & Chef Justin , Mechelle & Brittany took care of us ! We had the signature entree “Surf & Turf” (DELICIOUS!) . We trusted Mechelle to make us some AMAZING drinks as well ! Overall , Great Hospitality! The staff definitely were looking out ! I appreciate them !
Wow! My experience at this hotel has been nothing short of amazing! From the front desk staff (Lady with the short blonde hair and guy who works late night shift), the ladies in the restaurant and maintenance made me feel so welcome and catered to every need and issue I had. It is in perfect walking distance to all major attractions and they’re able to schedule airport transportation. I will definitely stay here again!
I stayed at The Troubadour Hotel New Orleans from January 13th- January 16th. This was my first time back in New Orleans since I was a child and that was many years ago. I was in town to celebrate my 35th birthday and it was amazing. During our stay, Kristi, Brittney, Carl, Mechelle, Jackie, Shondrika, Ms. Joy, and a host of other staff helped make my stay the BEST stay ever. Not just in New Orleans, but EVER at a hotel. The customer service was TOP TIER. I was greeted by name daily. They made me feel so special; on my first night the wait staff sang me Happy Birthday after dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was perfect harmony. I honestly was moved to tears because your staff did not know me personally but by the end of my stay I felt like we were family. I truly mean that...from valet, to the front desk staff, to the bar like ...I felt love. My room was spotless each time we left and came back. We also used valet and didn't have any issues. I even enjoyed the valet staff as they were so helpful, and always had a great conversation. The "Listening Room" is the perfect name for the restaurant downstairs. although we ate at several places in New Orleans absolutely nothing topped this restaurant. For dinner, I had the seafood pasta (highly recommend). It was so flavorful and scrumptious. From the fresh seafood to the BEST alfredo I've ever tasted. I also liked breakfast the next morning. I had shrimp and grits with a waffle and my partner had chicken and waffles. It was devine. Both times we ate the playlist was on point playing the best R&B. The chefs would even talk to us alittle while they were preparing our food and I really enjoyed it. The rooftop bar was perfect for a nightcap and the music was awesome. This was honestly and truly the best stay I've ever had at any hotel. From the cleanliness, the helpfulness, the genuine LOVE that I felt from each and every staff member .....like I won't ever forget this experience. I was going through a tough time this past weekend because my aunt was in the hospital and we share the same birthday ( 1/16) but your staff went above and BEYOND to show me genuine love and hospitality. Alot of places you lodge at don't even say hello when you return but THIS place. The Troubadour opened the door everytime we came back and told us welcome home to the point where I literally didnt ever want to go. I can't say enough about my stay here. It was nice and quiet, far away from the hussle and bussle of Canal and Bourbon BUT still close enough to walk. I can't wait to return to NEW ORLEANS. On our way out Carl wished us a safe trip home and thanked us for staying. He was fantastic. Literally everyone we encountered was fantastic. I didn't even get to say bye to everyone on your staff before I left but I pray they read this post and know how much their love meant to me. I can't wait to go back to The Troubadour!!!!! I pray your staff stays the SAME! Your team is SOLID. Thanks for an amazing stay!!!!!…
The Troubadour Hotel is a beautiful hotel especially the rooftop. It would be perfect for a couples weekend getaway. It's close enough to the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street to experience that if you want, but far enough away to feel like a different city. The staff was super friendly and extra helpful. Hospitality was 5-star!! Con: The buffet breakfast was expensive and just not good. I paid $30 for a choice of runny eggs, chunky grits, potatoes, bacon, pancakes and hot tea which was not included in the buffet cost. 📷: the rooftop bar
The service/level of hospitality by LaTanya and Onitha was so comforting! My boyfriend and I had trouble using our coffee maker and they went above/ beyond. They heard I was not feeling well, so they brought us tea and hot chocolate to make sure we felt better. Brittany helped and made sure we got the extra blanket we had asked for. Service at the hotel bar was ok, could have been friendlier. But overall everyone at the hotel was so warm and welcoming! Definitely recommend!
The hotel is in a great location just minutes away from the French quarter and conveniently located close enough to the CBD and convention center, Superdome, and Smoothie King Center to make things very accessible. The staff is outstanding. Checking in, they were very welcoming and valet service was super smooth. The room was so clean and comfy, and when asking for towels, blankets, etc. the response was very fast. There's a rooftop bar called Monkey Board which offers great city views and a super staff who make amazing drinks. Breakfast every morning in the Listening Room is delicious. You might be tempted to go to some "popular" spots but the food is better and more reasonably priced here. I'm a Louisiana native and the Troubador's breakfast is legit. The hostess was super friendly and made me feel like I was a guest in her home. Upon checkout, the desk agent Juliya was very helpful and worked hard to print me the right receipts. The valet parking attendant (big shout-out to the amazing Derrick) was incredibly patient and helpful in getting everything loaded and getting me on my way safely. There are tons of properties in New Orleans but I think this is my new favorite. …
From the time we checked in, to the time we left all the staff here was great. Joy was wonderful at breakfast. We wanted her to join us. lol Your roof top team upstairs, Jackie, Lerogers and Ronald were all so nice. We enjoyed sitting at the bar and talking with your awesome employees. Ronald made great specialty drinks! Thank you, good, friendly service is rare these days. I hope you recognize your team and let them know they are appreciated by some out of towners.
