It pains me to have to give the Park Hotel a less than stellar review. Parts of the hotel are absolutely charming, and the staff was friendly. We were in Hot Springs for an athletic tournament, and so spent very little time in the room. This fact worked against us in the end. Upon arrival, our check-in was pleasant. We...

Prior to booking this hotel, my family and I were trying to get in to the Arlington for a weekend getaway. This facility was sold out, but the Park Hotel caught my eye since it was billed as "historic" and within walking distance of many Hot Springs attractions. In addition, The price seemed to be way less than the Arlington,...

We made a last minute decision to go to Hot Springs for a couple of days. If I'd had more time to research I wouldn't have picked this place. They charged more for a room with a tub, as opposed to just a shower. Since the weather was freezing I decided I'd pay the extra, but how gross to take...

When we checked in our credit card was charged for the full three days so really no turning back after that. We got to our room at the end of a dark hallway, just needed a lightbulb, we couldn't get the door open. When we did the room was very basic, with mud tracked all over, dried up so we...

It's an historic 1920's hotel that has seen better days and - like the rest of the town - is gradually recovering after years of decline. (Visit the gangster museum to learn more.) Beautiful public areas. Quaint furnishings and furniture in my room (306). Housekeeping may sometimes have issues (see other reviews): the shower curtain in my room needed attention...

We stayed in room 601 which is a king suite with fantastic, large, opening windows, lots of space! Park view! Would highly recommend this hotel. Staff members were very friendly and made us feel welcomed.

Clerk only had one key - said someone must have taken the other one, No porters to take bags to room. Said we could use cart (which was falling apart. Elevator shaft smelled of raw sewage. No TV, inner spring with a thin, lumpy mattress. Couch at foot of bed had ripped fabric, toilet bowel spattered with feces. Couch felt gritty so...

The hotel has a great location, just off of Central Avenue and across the street from the Grand Promenade. It has its own free parking lot. The entrance and lobby are beautiful with their victorian era decor. The desk clerk was very nice. The room was large with a queen bed though it could use updating such as a flatscreen...

I can't say enough good things about this diamond in the rough. Yes, the rooms need a bit of sprucing up but this is what a "boutique" hotel is. The character, ambiance and employees of the hotel make up for that. Located in the Bath House district on a quiet street across from Hot Springs National Park was just what...

We loved the (Angels in) The Park Hotel. The staff were helpful, the hotel was clean, the lobby was very nice. Our room was small (no big deal) the room had a small window unit. The bathroom; sink, toilet and shower. Needs new mattresses. The view from our room was not good. There is a restaurant inside the hotel. No...
