My boyfriend me and my family stayed at this hotel few weeks ago and it was honestly one of the highlights of our trip thanks to the incredibly warm and hospitable owners. This hosts were so helpful and a delight to stay with - even lend hand to look after everything what you need. If you want to stay somewhere where the owners really care about your wellbeing and offering you the best possible experience, stay here. The location is not far in to town and the rooms are beautiful and very clean with everything you need. You will never find such a wonderful place to stay in nuwaraeliya and we will always remember our time here fondly! We will be back soon πŸ’ŸπŸ’Ÿ Sachi ...

This place is ideal for (nature loving) backpackers. The location is beautiful, but a bit far from The city centre and hard to find! (they offer a tuktuk service). The place is run by a very warm old man and a younger boy who are truly there to help you with anything. The rooms are clean, but nothing special. Great for a nights stay to visit the Horton plains afterwards.

When we first arrived we thought we were in the wrong place as the outside and first floor of the hotel is still under construction! We were shown to our room which was okay and had a private bathroom. The guys working there are nice enough and can help arrange tuk tuks to town or as far as worlds end. We gave the place 2 stars, as although they guys working there are doing as much as they can with the place, they haven't got much to work with. The rooms are carpeted with a patchwork of scraps of carpet, the mattresses are the thinnest and most uncomfortable I have ever slept on, the pillows lumpy and the rooms absolutely freezing and also damp - my clothes inside my bag were actually wet when I left. We had no hot water in our bathroom, and were offered the use of a tiny fan heater (15cm max) for 500 for the day or 1000 over night. Also, the hotel is very far from town, and you will end up spending between 600-1000 on tuk tuks every day (they are more expensive in the evening). This money would probably be better spent on a nicer hotel closer to town. I perhaps wouldn't recommend going as an unaccompanied female as one of the men would often stand at the door of our room and watch us which I found uncomfortable.
