Situated just 30 minutes from Nuwara Eliya, in the picturesque little village hamlet of Ragala, within the precincts of the Stafford Tea Estate, lies this beautiful heritage bungalow. Built in 1884 in the days of the British Raj by the trail blazing Scotts, the bungalow's colonial charm has been lovingly maintained through the years, albeit with the addition of modern day amenities.

Stafford Bungalow is a true 5 star property with perfectly manicured gardens, comfortable accomodation brilliant staff and food to die for. We enjoyed every minute of our short stay and were thoroughly pampered here. Thoroughly recommended.
Stayed in a large family suite. Great for a family of 5. Staff were very friendly and played cricket with us on the tennis court. High tea in the afternoon overlooking the tea gardens. Very homely with only 4 rooms available. Large selection of DVDs...More

One of the most beautiful and cosy real estate I have ever stayed in. My butler Chaminda was extremely helpful and the service here is exemplary. The food can be better though in terms of taste but the plating are always beautiful.
What a wonder...More
