We went for a lunch at this place and food and drinks great..Dining area was nicely furnished..Free WiFi was there too.. There are one or two things to be improved .. Food and drinks were quite expensive and portion size could have been better for the price we paid.. No card payment available on that time ..

Nuwara Eliya does not have many inviting restaurants at the moment so we were pleased to find Collingwood open. It was cold and the staff wore coats and scarves. When the power failed, a couple of candles were brought in to light a very large room. The food was good and the service very friendly. We were pleased to eat...

Just come back after staying at this hotel for 2 nights. We arrived in the evening went round looking for hotels and this was the best we found. The staff where very friendly especially Shannin and all the others would definate go back if we visit Niwarela again. Rooms very spacious and right opposit the race course very central.

This was the first place we happened upon walking down from our hotel, the menu seemed varied and being a party of 10 we sat down. Most ordered beer "no beer" was the reply, so we stood up to leave. "No, no we will get beer, sit, sit" and so it went on, staff served us in coats, asked one...

When we arrived, the manager didn't believe we had a reservation till I showed him the confirmation. The room is very basic. Even a one star sleazy hotel has soap in the bathroom. The room we had, we were told it was the best room in the hotel was dingy, with walls that needed painting. The curtains were stained. The...

We arrived late in the evening after a bike tour and found this hotel which had a vacancy. I was totally surprised by the beautiful decor inside. I would describe it as Victorian. The rooms were spacious with air conditioning and each one had a small balcony. The restaurant served delicious meals and had a cozy atmosphere. The staff were very...

We arrived late and chose the hotel at random - not having internet to check on Trip Advisor. When we'd booked in we looked at the reviews and were shocked at what some people had written. Yes I agree it's not a 4* hotel but it IS a very comfortable small family owned hotel and the staff couldn't have been...

This hotel is located in a very nice location, its very closely located to the bus stand and the race course in the city. It costed us around 70 USD for a 2 queen bed room with a balcony, we were 3 guys so it was a 3 way split. This is a 2 star property by its worth the...

We needed a room because it was getting pretty late, the female owner wanted to let us pay 88 dollars for a room, which I thought was really to expensive. Eventually she lowered it to 78 dollars, which was still to much, but we accepted it. The owner told us that when paying the translation to rupees would be made...
