I stayed here with a friend, the night before going to the World's End trail. We arrived in Nuwara Eliya late and were struggling to find a place to stay, when we were recommended Hill View. The rooms were basic, but the host was very welcoming and helpful. The place had a nice family atmosphere and was perfect for one...

Clean, simple but comfortable. Very friendly owners, lovely and pretty dog. But most important - the view over the city. Walking distance to the city center, perfect for those who doesn't like huge hotels.

A friend and I spent 2 nights here. The guesthouse is located slightly out of town (about a 20minute walk) although this wasn't too much of a problem. The room itself was big and clean but very basic. The bathroom on the other hand was absolutely tiny and hot water was limited. Wifi was also intermittent. The breakfast however was...

The Hill View Bungalow is a 20 minute uphill walk from town, but the accommodations are comfortable and affordable. Due to a mix up on my end, I arrived a day early, and no rooms were available. The owners kindly offered me their own bedroom for the night. The dinner and breakfast are a bit more expensive than the options...

we arrived here by accident, conducted by a driver who we trusted at the train station. the Madame owner of the b&b proposed us differnt kind of accomodation: we choosed the cheapest one: private room with shared bathroom. Really it looked like a home only for us, with the terrace, the fire-place and the living room. The Madame offer us...

We have stayed there for one night only. Good location but the place itself wasnt really anything special. Cheap sleepover. Bathroom was dirty, no towels, warm water was warm for 3 minutes only. Not much "View" too. Very basic.

We stayed here mainly because it was pretty cheap and it had positives and negatives. When we booked we asked for a double room with a view and a private bathroom for 4000 rupees a night. When we got there it was two single beds pushed together with a shared bathroom but with a really nice view for 2500 rupees....

We stayed at the Hill View Bungalow 1 night. When we arrived to the bus station in Nuwara Eliya we were approached by Wijihta, the owner of Little Heaven (also on TA). As we did not want to stay at Little Heaven he showed us some alternatives in the area, first Chez Allen, then this. The room was ok with...

Me and My girlfriend stayed for three nights in this lovely and intimate little guesthouse located on the hillside with a beautiful view over the town. The friendly staff, lead by the ever so nice Mali, helped us to maximise the stay in Nuwara Eliya by organizing trips and advantures. On top of that the food Mali cooked was superb,...

If you are looking for a budgetary room in Nuwara Eliya, here can be a right choice to stay. The owner is quite helpful to arrange the journey when you would plan to the other city. He can plan the journey, transportation, even the guesthouse of your next stops. Just remember to bargin a reasonable price for yourself.
