We stayed in Maldives for 2 weeks . in-spite of concerns that it might start to get a bit boring a few days in an island, we never felt bored at all . Kuramathi blew us away . Firstly it’s one of the bigger islands that you stay in Maldives , secondly the island has everything for everyone .. just imagine it has its own football ground , tennis ground , basketball , badminton courts , spa , gym , medical house doctors, the brilliant aqua sports and dive centers, nice walking area around the island , the sand bank , night entertainments , nice DJ’s, the oh so many bars and of course the buffet plus ala carte restaurants . We had booked via TUI and our TUI Agent Sina was all hands since day one to ensure we were comfortable in our stay . Since the moment we landed , we were treated with top rated services from everyone we interacted in the island . it was a dream come true … Definitely recommend going all inclusive since the cocktails are to die for . The bars all around the island is so cozy and once can just pick and choose any of them just to laze around and watch the lagoons or the reef or just admire at the brilliant white sand with the different blues of the ocean .. just paradise … If you are into ocean sports ..the dive center plus the aqua center have plenty of activities .. thank you Thambi from the acqua center for taking us to those amazing places to watch the most extraordinary fishes we have ever seen .. also being patient to teach me the right way to snorkel . Thank you Eszter from the dive center !! You have been amazing . In terms of food, we were vegetarians and there was a good variety of them at the buffet services . We would like to specially mention Bhupal, Shaimak and chef Daniel who took extraordinary care of our food requirements . Thank you, we will never forget those great chit chats and how you ensured we were getting the right dietary required foods !! You guys were amazing . We never tried all the ala carte restaurants but did try the Italian, Indian and the coffee shop. The food was great in all the restaurants and in fact the restaurant made special arrangements for my husbands birthday. Special thanks to Amin and Mushroof from tandoor mahal and island coffee shop. Was wonderful having you both help us celebrate the occasion and we will always remember the extra care that you put in to make it a extra special day for us . All the bars are wonderful in Kuramathi — 2 of the bars have the view to the infinity pool .. while the Dhoni bar have a super relaxed cozy atmosphere . Cocktails are just amazing.. definitely worth going all inclusive . Would thank Nilantha for the excellent cocktails plus the coffee time chats ( we miss that ) and Joy who kept lifting our spirits with her beautiful service and smile . The spa facilities will take your breath away .. I went for 2 massages with Wayan .I had never felt so pampered and rejuvenated after the treatments . I also made a booking at the couple’s area by the beach .. just imagine listening to the waves and watching the fishes on the ground while getting your massage . Out of the world . Thank you Anju/Craig for suggesting the right ones for me and being so helpful . The gym is big enough and very well maintained .. I took the yoga courses by the beach with Manju .. no matter if you are beginner or advanced level, you must try out her fitness lessons . I took a package of 5 x 1 hour sessions with Manju .. and every hour was worth it . From strength training to yoga, Manju is a pro . Also watch out for the full moon yoga by the sand bank . This experience is a must have . The rooms were pretty clean and the housekeeping does a great job in ensuring it is cleaned spic and span everyday . We stayed in the deluxe beach bungalow for one week and the water Villa the next one . Having the Jacuzzis in both the rooms was a great idea. We loved staying in both the rooms but definitely the water Villa was well worth it . A definite must stay . The house reef is amazing.. but there are even great snorkeling areas just minutes away from Kuramathi by the boat as well . All in all Kuramathi made our Maldives trip extra special and we will definitely revisit it again . Thanks to everyone who took care of us , I am sure we have forgotten so many names . But all of you make Kuramathi special .

Hotel's Favourite
We recently returned from our second visit to Kuramathi in the last 5 months - we were not disappointed and are pleased to say that the impeccable standard & experience we had in November was repeated - top notch customer service, rooms, food, drinks and of course the all important kids dream of Bageecha Kids Club!! While we went as a family with 2 young kids, it is important to note we would return here in a heart beat without the kids!! Snorkling: We did considerably more snorkling during this visit - we swam on the reef with dolphins, turtles, reef sharks and all sorts of other fish you can imagine. We had a room on the reef side so we could simply paddle out from the beach in front of our room. Bring a Go-Pro or some sort of underwater camera to document the experience!! Food: We had opted for the full-board package and were therefore allocated the Farivalhu buffet restaurant. You will not be disappointed with the variety, quality and freshness of the food served at every meal. We stayed for nine (9) nights and were never disappointed nor did we feel that the food was repetitive. Top quality food which is on par or exceeds standard of 5 star buffet restaurant in Dubai. The a la carte restaurants are exceptional but we didn't get to try them on this occasion. Room: Once again we were in a 2-bed beach house which is super spacious and could accommodate 6 adults. It is a two story structure with massive living space on each floor, massive bathroom and situated directly on the beach with your own private beach chairs in front. For families, there will be very few hotels that could offer such a unique living arrangement and is one of the reason we came back! The rooms are cleaned daily and the staff are extremely attentive to ensure the room is spotless upon your return. Island experience: We explored the island some more this time - its about 1.2km in length which means you are able to do your morning jogs from one end to the other. The white sandbar at the end of the Island is mind blowing- and spectacular, beautiful spot to park yourself, watch the world go by and take some memorable photos. At the other end of the island they have one of 3 swimming pools (2 of which are infinity) - it is very close to the jetty where the beginner snorkling is done and the swimming pool amongst the palm trees in front of the white sand it just WOW! There are several restaurants/bars around it where you can order food or refreshments. In between these two points there are many bars, restaurants, coffee club, spa and swimming pools which offer a great ambiance. Evening entertainment: The island has a cracking band which plays at the various bars/restaurants. We decided to briefly watch the band at Laguna bar on this visit and were very impressed. These guys have incredible voices, play any cover on request and really get the crowd going with their enthusiasm. Again, a very nice added touch for those that want to listen to some live music in paradise! Bageecha Kids Club - For those with kids, this is a priceless gem of a feature of the resort. The staff at this club are just phenomenal and give you every peace of mind that the kids are happy & in good hands. The kids club has lunch and dinner available during the course of the day and will facilitate baby sitting for younger kids (from a couple of months) for a very reasonable hourly fee. The kids will be doing painting, crafting, dress-up costumes, beach walks, cooking/bbq experience, visit the ocean life educational center amongst the many other activities. The club also has a dedicated swimming pool with slides along with a splash park for the toddlers. Imagine this: family breakfast finished 10:30am, drop off kids at Bageecha at 11am, adult time of cocktails by pool followed by a peaceful lunch. This is followed by having to drag the kids out of the kids club at 2pm because they enjoy it so much and want to stay longer. This place is what makes the resort for families!! Overall a very pleasant experience and one we would like to repeat. This resort is like nonother that we have stayed at and one we would recommend to anyone!!

KURAMATHI was recommended by friends and it didnt disappoint. If your looking for an island that offers variety this is the Island for you. Whatever your budget the choice of accommodation is 1st class, from small beach Villas to Villas on the water. For those who like variety I would definitely upgrade to select all (you can do this at the resort) this is the next level to all inclusive and allows you access to all restaurants and all drinks (except Prosecco or Champayme) and is really worth it for those who love good food and cocktails. Please note there is no room service on the island and you cannot take food back to your room. The walk from the top of the island to the bottom takes about 40 mins I recommend you do this at least once as you get to exolore all the bars and facilities, tennis court, spa, water sports (no jet skis on the island), dive centre, ice cream shop. There is a buggy that takes you around the island for those who don't like walking but you can wait a while for them to arrive. I cannot fault the Island it was truly beautiful

we returned to Kuramathi for the 13th time in 7 years and although we had not been for nearly 2 years due to the pandemic it is still the magical place that we fell in love with the very first time. upon arrival we felt immediately at home and the staff greeted us as if we had never been away. our villa was perfect and the staff were excellent as they always have been throughout every trip we have made there. the food was amazing and all of our favourites were on the menus. although it is a laid back island there is still so much to do there, our favourite choice is the Kuramathi Spa, we always try to book a massage out on the pavilion as you can lay there as watch the sea go by. all in all another fantastic trip and i can't wait until we go back again which will be very soon.

It looks amazing in photos and videos, but it's even better when you're there. The resort is incredible, the facilities, the food, the staff, everything is great. I would definitely visit again. The facilities were of a very high standard as were the various restaurants. We booked on the select all inclusive package and the drinks and food included was actually overwhelming. I would definitely recommend it if you don't want to just be eating at the buffet restaurants all day. Special mention to the staff at the Spa, who were great too. The booking process was also great. I opted to book direct with the hotel and it was a very easy process. Best place I've ever been to and the most complete hotel I've ever stayed at.
