When I visit Obihiro, I stay at other hotel and I use the sauna here. But this time I stayed here. I booked online requesting a nonsmoking room. I received message back for the confirmation. But they put me in smoking room. I complained. They said they would give me a non smoking room, but ended up another smoking room, but this time they put air cleaner on. Basically they lied to me. I won't stay here again. But breakfast was pretty good.
Small, compact semi-double room with a small bathroom and very poor shower in a modern hotel, conveniently located in front of Obihiro JR station and near all the restaurants. No free car parking (¥550 per day) Bathing facilities available on the 3rd floor but the floors were very slippery and there was no real space to put your things and change in the changing room except for lockers for which you need to put in access codes etc. so not the easiest system for foreign visitors. Customer service was so-so especially at check out when no detailed print out of the charges was offered until requested! An expensive stay at the end of Golden Week...but it's the same everywhere in Japan at this time of year!
