This is magical, peaceful place, full of fantastic views, great walks and really well maintained gardens, accommodation and good vegetarian food. Thoroughly recommend it to other travellers, particularly for singles, couples and families that enjoy the great outdoors.

Hello, Cynthia, Nirarta is built in a leafy garden in the foothills of Gunung Agung above the Unda River. The extra altitude means the temperature is quite a bit cooler than at sea level. There also tends to be a steady breeze and good flow of air down the river valley. As such, we have found that air conditioning is not necessary. We do have a number of standing fans available in the rooms, should you feel a need to be a bit cooler still. The main room for meditation and meetings is also airy, well-ventilated, and cool. It is comfortable for yoga and dance.
