A recent stay at Bali Chaya Hotel was with some unfortunate communication problems with hotel staff prior to booking the hotel rooms, but a satisfactory outcome was achieved with the assistance of the hotel staff. The rooms were ok (nothing special) and the facilities of the hotel were also ok. When writing a tripadvisor review, I ask the following two questions 1/ would I stay there again - Answer - No, and 2/ would I recommend to a friend - Answer - No. I personally believe there are better hotels (for the same price) in the Legian area and I would especially recommend to other travellers to do your homework on what your accommodation needs are, prior to making and confirming your booking.

A clean and pleasant hotel set back down a quiet lane away from the busy roads. The staff are very friendly and continue to ensure the hotel and surrounds are clean. The rooms are a comfortable size, clean and serviced daily. It was a pleasure to be greeted and served by Krisna in the dining area for breakfast with his welcoming manner and politeness. Although set back back down in a quiet lane you are not far from many of the popular places of the Legian area and a short walk to the beach.

I want to first start by saying, this trip to Bali was amazing. We have never stayed at the Bali Chaya Hotel but we are so glad that we did. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, good size en-suite and the facilities were great. The staff were amazing, the cleaners that serviced our rooms were so friendly and accommodating, the reception staff always said hello and gave you a big smile and the restaurant staff were more than happy to help you out with anything you needed, and of course with a big smile. Just a shout out to Krisna Gadi for always being so wonderful and making us feel so welcome. You always had time for a chat and made our time at Bali Chaya amazing, thank you. Definitely recommend this hotel, it’s affordable and comfortable. We will stay here again.

We receive a warm welcome from the beautiful girl at the reception with a complimentary drink. She is always smiley. Cleanliness. My room has been clean everyday, with clean towel fresh bed sheet. At the restaurant Krisna who even remembers my name and very helpful. He did remember the choice of juice to serve for my dad as he was feeling to good. Only thing lacking a little table and chair on the balcony and a cloth rack for swimsuits. The bathroom tiles need a little update. I will definitely go back. Emma
