Cheap and cheerful is the best way to describe Panorama Cottages 1. It's a traditional Balinese hotel with an authentic feel. If your looking for snooty 5 star hotel this isn't for you. Instead you will find simple, quiet, no roosters next to the standard rooms, no frills independent living and this ticks our boxes. We've stayed here twice and... More

After a few years not visiting Bali, I decide to visit Bali for the second time. Last time i stayed in panorama cottages back then because it was a cheap place to stay with a great location and good landscape. But the room was average, you pay what you get for. This time around it is a lot more nicer,... More

One of our favourite places to stay in Legian. Rooms are a generous size and very clean and affordable, great size pool and nice and close to all restaurants. Staff are lovely and we feel very safe....a hidden gem..

Due to our flights being cancelled for the volcano ash, after 16 nights at another hotel, we decided to move here for a more quiet, relaxed, atmosphere after being recommended by a fella we met in Bali. We were shown Cottage 16 and were rapt as it is a 2 story self contained cottage nestled amongst garden etc. The price... More

Great garden escape with beautiful pool, amazing outdoor bathroom and friendly staff. Rooms were really large and secluded with your own balcony. Basic breakfast included too. Rooms not modern, but didn't need to be - character with relaxed atmosphere way more important.

Spent 12 days at Panorama 1 cottages with 2 children ( 6yrs and 2yrs) and was perfect for us. The gardens are lovely and the pool was fantastic. It was close enough to the hustle and bustle of Kuta (and far enough away to be quiet at night) and a 10 minute walk to the beach. It may not be... More

Not much to day. Would have been great in it's day. Everything is old, old and old. The duck pond in the middle is in worse condition than the river in Denpasar. Some of the villas are OK but the complex is terrible. Spend a couple of hundred more over a week and stay elsewhere.

We stayed end of July for 6 days, the grounds and pool are amazing. the front rooms suitable for a couple are well appointed with a full kitchen and gorgeous shower, bath and bathroom outside. very clean and friendly staff. the 2 storey villas at the back were suitable for us (2 adults, 1 child) but the bathroom was a... Stayed here many times, the rooms are outdated, tv is not working, but what makes Panorama nice are the nice gardens and the great swimmingpool. It is totally silent there, out of the busy hazzle from the overbusy Kuta/Legian area and the prices are also ok, in comparisation. Don't expect luxury, but when you are easy happy, it's a good... When we arrived at night the stuff brought us to our “all rooms come with pool or garden view and terrace or balcony” standard room. It was an old fashioned dirty room in the 2nd floor without balcony. To avoid depressions we moved for 1 night to the luxury room for 680.000 IDR. But even in that room we found... More
