I stayed three nights here and loved it. The bungalows are clean and private also very spacious. Food was good, dinning room looking over the beach, you can watch the fishing boats come I'm around five. Staff are very friendly, the guard tried to teach me how to play the gambling (I am not very good) I had forgot my... More

We have just returned after 12 days in Bali. We spent 5 nights(23/02 to 28/02) at the Hidden Paradise Cottages and our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. On arrival we were informed that the pool was being renovated and so, not in use. We were offered accommodation at their sister hotel about 200 metres down the road... More

The bungalows are perfect, especially if you live in the big ones with three beds ( family rooms) The beach is not very nice but under the water there is nice snorkeling. Choose to eat at other restaurants nearby, there are some nice ones close by.

Lipah beach is paradise and these cottages are basic but are in Balinese style with outside bathrooms. The snorkeling straight of the beach here was stunning and we enjoyed relaxing at the front of the hotel in either beach lounges or in their front lobby and looking across to Lombok. Staff were excellent. No hawkers on the beach, very peaceful.... More

We booked the property with Eurodive diving and were impressed with the rooms and gardens. The rooms are spacious and bathrooms are big and open air so need to be kept continously closed so mosquitos do not enter the room. The pool is salt water and good. The best thing is beach front location , you can step into black... More

I must be honest to say that I became quite nervous as we entered Amed because it is a very small, rustic and somewhat basic little village. As usual in Bali, there was litter everywhere. However, once you enter the premises of the cottages you truly do find yourself in a hidden paradise. The gardens are quite simply superb, and... More

We really enjoyed this little paradise. Room was clean and with a very nice style (four posted bed, so romantic), direct acces to the beach, the breakfast was correct and the pancakes delicious. Staff was very polit and helpful.

This was our second stay at Hidden Paradise. We still love it. The rooms are nice and spacious and the outside bathrooms lovely. Although we requested rooms away from the road we were still given a room right next to reception and near the road. You can hear the motorbikes from the road at night and in the morning. We... It seems like forever driving around the coast until you reach this little hotel in Amed. The grounds are very pretty, with quaint pathways and an absolutely GORGEOUS pool - lovely to swim in during the day and lit up beautifully at night. We stayed only for one night but I would definitely return. The hotel is right on the... More

Amed has really got a lot more busy since we were last here in 2008. Lots of new hotels, shops, and dive businesses. Hidden Paradise has been around for over twenty years and has been looked after. It still presents really well with the individual cottages spaced well away from each other in superb gardens. The sandy swimming beach is... More
