My impression is that Amed Café was built as a sort of “grand projet” in the mid-1990s. It runs from the beach / restaurant area and straddles the road, continuing up the hillside to where most of the rooms and the two pools are situated. It’s situated about half a mile up the road from the main Amed Beach area,...

We stayed at Hotel Kebun Wayan for 3 nights. Arrived there looking for the best deal: good quality and affordable. We payed $200.000 Rupiah per night for a double bedroom, and had access to the pools and breakfast. The room was very clean and with an incredible view. Breakfast was the BEST in all our stay in Bali (buffet, unlimited,...

We would like to give this restaurant a great review as the staff are so lovely and polite, however the food was a huge disappointment. Spaghetti bolognaise was far too sweet, tasted of tomato sauce from a bottle, spring rolls were also covered in tomato sauce? Sate was tough. The fresh fruit drinks were so so but avoid anything with...

We were a day out going to see nice things in East Bali. For lunch we arrived at Amed Cafe (Hotel Kebun Wayan). This restaurant is located on the sea and looks clean and nice. The menu is limited, so we chose Gado Gado and sandwich, these were tasty. Staff is friendly and helpful. Not bad for a short stop.

Balinese friends suggested this place and it didn't disappoint. Nothing was too much trouble to make our stay wonderful. Mr Ketut (I think, sorry if I have your name wrong) collected us from Sanur for our 4-day stop over in Amed. Amed is really an unspoilt and more laid back part of Bali, great to incorporate in a stay with...

Spent in total 5 nights in two different rooms here. Good wifi connection though sometimes the internet drops out. Nice rooms. Ok breakfast. Good service. Two pools, one smaller and one larger with a pool bar.

We rented the 2 best rooms (Puring Agung View 1&2) giving us their verandah and a huge common verandah to ourselves on 2nd (top) floor fronting beach . Room 1 & the common verandah have a view towards the volcano - gorgeous at sunset relaxing outside. Both look down on the beach through trees. We loved the rooms themselves just...

The complex is really nice, with two pools and a restaurant which is on the other side of the road directly at the beach. Unfortunately the hotel is already some years old and the bathroom was not that nice anymore and the room, beautifully made out of windows in a sort of bamboo garden, was full of open spaces (at...
