We found this hotel after a horrible experience with another one --- it was a late minute booking and we should've stayed here our whole visit ! This is a very nice, very convenient hotel ! The staff was so helpful and nice and even has dog biscuits at counter for your fur babies ! We will defiantly be back !
Decent hotel. Clean rooms. Had some trouble with my keys working in door but a tall male staff helped (he was super friendly). Halls were 90 degrees for some reason. Breakfast was a nice spread but needs more GF DF options! It IS 2022. We left a pair of crocs in the sheets I removed from bed. Called 4x-no answer, reservation line guy was on hold for 25 minutes no answer; I called a 5th time got a manager & she said the phones were not working & INSISTED she would call back after she asked if they found my daughters shoes. NOTHING. Which is why I gave a poor rating. I can't stand EMPTY promises. Blowing customers off is never acceptable.
Staff are super-friendly and helpful, but that's not enough to overcome some significant structural deficiences. The room appeared to have been furnished with a hodgepodge of thrift store finds - old, tired, stained misfits. I wouldn't have minded so much if at least the pieces were clean, but they were far from it. When there's a sign saying "cleaned an disinfected for your comfort and protection," you shouldn't see dust, or feel anything sticky. Complimentary WiFi is appreciated, but a place to charge devices would also be good. The only outlet that accepted a charging block was in the bathroom. The complimentary breakfast is also a bonus, with plenty of healthy options. I just wish that were enough to make up for the room.
On a motorcycle road trip with my husband. Checked in at this HI & S for one night. Excellent friendly and helpful Service. Excellent rooms, comfy beds and pillows. Excellent hot breakfast. Sad we were only staying for one night. Will definitely make this our base if we pass through again.
My friend and I had to make an unexpected 2 day stay so that I could fly out of Pensacola for a funeral. We needed a place nearby the airport, but also in a scenic area since my friend would be just hanging out all day with my pooch. I was pleasantly pleased! Every staff member that we encountered was very polite, professional, and friendly. The breakfast was the best I have ever had in a hotel. And the gal working the breakfast area was beyond kind and helpful. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The only reason that I did not give it 5 stars is that I don't think the bathroom was cleaned. There was TP in the toilet and the floor was a bit sticky. There were plenty of fresh towels however. I really should have called and told them; I am certain they would have taken care of it. The rest of the hotel room, and hotel in general, was immaculate. I appreciated the water bowl outside for dogs and the two pet areas with poop bags. I also felt like the rooms were very sound proof -- I never heard any other people or doors shutting. I would definitely stay here again.…
We always plan our travel strops around Hampton, We have not found a more consistant venue for an overnight or longer stay. In todays failure to meet expectations, it is increasingly pleasant to know that Hampton can be depended on to deliver comfort and safety.
This is one of the best hotels that my wife and I have every had the privilege of staying at. Every single staff member that we had the privilege of interacting with during our three-day stay was professional, courteous, helpful, friendly, listened, and seemed interested in our well-being. While some of the interior is worn from use, the hotel was clean and comfortable, and I will take excellent service over a pristine hotel any day of the week. The layout of the room was large and conducive to a work trip.
We stayed for 5 nights to experience the beaches in the winter. We were very comfortable at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good each morning. We carried our dog and he was welcomed and enjoyed his stay also.
Words cannot express the gratefulness we feel for the experience we had staying for months at the Hampton Inn & Suites Gulf Breeze while we are waiting on the damage to our home from hurricane Ida to be repaired. The staff was so welcoming and made sure our stay was comfortable. From the GMs Rich and Tee to the Front Desk, Jay, Melissa, Raul, Clay, Brian and Jelees were all are amazing and our tiny pup Lola loved to see them for her treats! They were always in good moods and that really helps when you are passing through hotel lobby. The housekeepers Danielle and Jaime were always friendly saying hello when we pass by, they keep the hotel immaculate! I have stayed at many hotels in the past and I have never seen one this clean at every turn. The breakfast staff Jeanie and Kelley always had really good food that was freshly made. The biscuits tasted like they were made from scratch and my mouth is watering just thinking about them. We have decided that this is our go to hotel in Gulf Breeze for life. I have never experienced such an amazing place. I use to work for 5 star hotel spas so I know good quality and they surpass in excellence. I hope I didn’t leave anyone out but just know that everyone was accommodating and made us feel welcomed.…
A company is known by the action of its employees. I witnessed the desk clerk handle with the most professionalism and kindness a young couple with two small children were having with there reservation that they had obtained through a third party vendor. Employees make a company and this employee should make Hilton proud.
