pros; beautiful setting, morning birds and soft air at dawn, good size pool, great restaurant verandah with sea view and excellent breakfast buffet, in-room team and coffee making, excellent mojitos, friendly and efficient service on phone and on check-in. cons: not enough sun loungers by the pool (the usual unspoken turf war with books and flip flops left to claim... My husband and I stayed for 5 nights over New Year 2012 and like most of the other reviews on here we left with very mixed views. The view is fantastic, reception staff were extremely helpful and the room was brilliant, loved the unique design and an overall very relaxing experience. What let the resort down in a very big... We stayed here for 4 nights, February 2013 and were very pleased overall. The complex is quite impressive with it's raised walkways, intricate stone mosaics and an overall feel that the whole place is well integrated into the lush foliage. We chose a Rosewood room based on Trip Advisor photos. There seems to be about 5 of these now and... More

Great location and views over the small town of Kep. I ended up staying in 2 rooms- the second was much better...(I think all the bungalows are styled differently.) My first room was a traditional style hut with woven straw walls & ceilings, which made it very dark (especially in the bathroom area as the lighting was not brilliant) but... More

When we arrived - admittedly early - the teenagers at reception clearly had far more interesting things than guests to occupy their attention, and we were dismissed, without directions, to the restaurant. The waiters there would have ignored us had we not indicated that we wanted to do something as remarkable as eat. Prominently posted “Guest Rules” in the room... More

We stayed in the Veranda for three nights at the end of our Cambodian trip. It has a pleasant location on a lush hillside overlooking the sea with the Kep national park immediately behind. The core of the hotel is the bar and dining area which is probably the original veranda. This is on various levels and provides the restaurant... More

We stayed 3 nights, pity we didn't have a view so check which room you are getting. Room big, clean but could have had a bigger bathroom. Was a great room to return to when it was really hot. We walked down to the Crab market 3 times and its only 10 minutes Dow and 20 back. It is also... More

Heard a lot about this place and maybe due to that I had high expectations. Well, came around 7pm with a couple of friends (one was actually staying at this place). From the start, the waiters were very slow to act. Yes, they smile a lot but many times we had to wave our hands wildly to get their attention,... More

Gorgeous setting, natural environment, lush foliage and landscape.....a real retreat perched on a hill, with ocean view and proximity to walking trail......but, getting very expensive for the level of service and comfort. Started as a relaxed lodge, now turning into a huge resort by kep standards and is losing its personal charm as they add more and more bungalows (with... More

The first few hours of our stay were a bit of a disaster - after being ignored at reception for about 15 minutes we were shown to our room. It was dark, dingy, the door didn't close properly and it was next to a building site. After complaining we were moved, the lady on reception wasn't surprised and told us... More
