We made a short stop here while our Kep "exploration tour", also thinking about having lunch at this place. We expected a nice view (as announced on their signs), but an ugly building between 'Kepmandou' and the sea and litter all around this place didn't make us feel comfortable. However, the wodden tree house style of this place itself is...

Stayed in a private room by the lounge! Lounge was quiet during the day! However extremely loud at night time, people shouting, animal noises, children crying, construction very early: not relaxing! It was very hard to sleep at this place, room felt like we were sleeping in a barn, wooden boards covered with poor black material! It also sound like...

I stayed in a hammock for first time, and that was pretty cool! The view from the hostel is amazing and the location is perfect to visit Rabbit Island. The have free wifi, a pool table and the food is good and affordable! They also rent bicycles and scooters if you need them.

Needed a place to relax after one really busy month in Vietnam. Stayed here for one week (double room 4$ shared bathroom) and literally did nothing. Chilled all day and researched for my next trip in the hammocks. This Hostel has the most relaxing vibe, lovely european volunteers& Cambodian staff and a really helpful french owner.

Kepmandou is nice budget accommodation (a bit hippie) outside Kep (ca.3 km). The coast is close to the hostal but the long beach (a decent one) is in Kep city. I stayed for one night on New years Eve and it was ok. We paid 5 usd for one night and therefore we were not expecting much. The room was...

Staff friendly, hostel clean and tidy. It is very far from town, a very long walk or a $3 tuktuk ride - very expensive on a backpacker budget. It is close to the trail for the national park though. My only real gripe was the sheer amount of mosquitos in the room. In the shower there were honestly no less...

In short, I had dinner with my wife, her 'Thai' soup was made with a chicken cube - nothing Thai about that, and they would never put a fried egg in soup!. I ordered a burger that never came, along with a three part appetizer that clearly had only two parts to it. We thought we would give the place...

Kepmandou is a convenient location for a stopover between Kep seaside down and the islands. If you were to spend a night in Kep, but didn't want to be too far from the port for the next day, stay here. You can explore the town via tuk tuk for some fresh crab and then take a fishing boat the next...

Kepmandou is situated at a road parallel to the main road, from the sea side. It is a backpackers guesthouse with a resto on a rather big terrace and a certain view. We go there sometimes for dinner, when we do not have a motorbike, as it is on a walking distance from the Sok Man Palace where we stay....
