The idea of this “Waterpark” is wonderful, but the owner and the staff care very little about the safety and satisfaction of the guests. Several of the deck planks broke while I was there. One girl seriously injured her ankle when a board broke on the main deck. A fun day, but dangerous!

Had a great time here and how couldn't you? Numerous activities organized by the hostel and there's a freaking water park part of the hostel. What more could you want? The hostel is located a little bit out of the main town but the town is small and to be honest you only really need a day trip there anyway. Great staff, great stay. Thank you :)

I just wanted to send an email regarding the absolutely disgraceful stay that myself and my party had at Arcadia. We were given a three bed private dorm which was the filthiest room I had stayed in during my whole 2 month trip around Asia. I thought there was leaves on top of my mosquito net but it was actually about 50 dead moths ? If rooms were regularly cleaned this would obviously not have gone unnoticed so that quickly explained how the room had obviously not been cleaned since maybe last season. The mosquito nets were absolutely filthy, my one stank of urine and was filled with holes. Our bathroom was covered in cobwebs, and we also found slugs and frogs in the bathroom. Our room had no windows and one fan so it was stiflingly hot. The room stank of mould and stale sweat it was absolutely disgusting. The dogs that were living on the premises fought and barked the whole night long keeping us awake. The walls of our cabin were so thin we could hear our neighbors turning in their beds and at 6am they awoke and began playing music. We quickly decided that morning we were going to be leaving as soon as possible even though we had booked two nights. Upon checking out we were charged for both nights with the man at the desk not even bothering to ask why we were leaving early and had no issues charging us the extra money. We sat down and waited for our tuk tuk and I was about to bring all of our issues to the attention of another member of staff when I quickly realized they were all drunk at 12pm in the afternoon. Really nice and professional. The manager then proceeded to throw the bin which had an open barbecue sauce in it, into the river, the barbecue sauce spraying onto my bag and onto the floor, the rubbish flowing into the river. Do you think I wanted to approach any member of staff after that? I’m so appalled I was charged two nights stay and would be greatful if some sort of refund could be arranged as myself and my party were just so upset by our whole experience at Arcadia. We had never stayed somewhere that displayed such levels of unprofessionalism and immaturity among members of staff, who seemingly just wanted to get drunk all day everyday. I have been working in the hospitality business for 7 years and if any members of my staff were to behave in the way I saw the staff behaving at Arcadia, I would be deeply ashamed. We payed good money and we’re treated with the utmost disrespect. Extremely disappointed and upset.

We went to Arcadia for the day just to get on the river and loved it. It's $7 for a day pass I think and worth it to get access to the hilarious Waterpark, ping pong table, hammocks, and even a little gym area. The river downstream seemed dirty, but Arcadia is above the town so the water is clean and cool. Great for swimming and floating in their tubes. We also did a short rafting trip for a few dollars which was silly and awesome! The food is delicious and staff is very friendly!

If you’re heading to Cambodia then you have to go here! Soooo much fun. It’s like you can revert back to being a child again at a water park but you’re not a child, and there’s alcohol and it’s full of social backpackers wanting to have as much fun as you. Awesome, awesome couple of days, thank you x
