We didn’t stay here, but floated in from our long kayak ride in search of a cold drink. To our delight, this ramshackle place served a wide variety of cold Belgian beers, each variety served with its own specialized glass. They hit the spot! We enjoyed the low-key, riverside ambiance, drank to our hearts’ content, and paddled on our way. A nice stop!

We weren’t staying here but popped in as we had read you could hire kayaks. In the end we couldn’t resist the electric boat, which came with two sun loungers on a bamboo platform! It was so relaxing gliding along this very beautiful stretch of the river without any hard work! The only drawback was that the boat couldn’t access the Green Cathedral (network of narrow streams through the mangroves) but it was still a lovely way to see the river. Hire prices were very reasonable - electric boat $10/hour, kayaks $3. After our boat ride we stayed at the lodge for some drinks and relaxing in hammocks by the river.

A very nice homestay within a still wild .... but for a long. The place is very quite. The surrounding landscape is stunning. You can rent a stand up padlle or kayak to go on the river in the middle of the magrove and palm trees. You can also rent a motobike to discover the upcountry of Kampot. The food is good and the staff very helpful. French speaker do not hesitate to go ..... this homestay is managed by a French/Belgium team. BOOK absolutely the Boat lodge ....... the view and the interior is very nice.

We upgraded our room to the bungalow #1 and had a very spacious room with a lovely balcony overlooking the river. They also have a lounger on the terrace where one can hang out for hours. The french owner and his cambodian wife are very helpful and friendly and the food is also very good which makes it conveniient at evenings since Kampot town is about 6 km away on a bumpy road

We stayed in the family bungalow and enjoyed it very much. Two spacious rooms with mosquito nets and hangers for your clothes. Love the verandah to hang out on, with large table, a day bed and a hammock. No AC but fans in each bed room and also one we could move to the verandah if needed. Bathroom was clean and nice. They come in and tuck in the mosquito nets for you in the evening, which is a nice touch. Restaurant area is spacious and food was good. Wide selection of beers. Location is a bit far from town but a really nice place if you just want to hang out and relax.
