Travellers' Choice
The Sabay Beach is located on the riverfront 6.5km away from Kampot City Center. It offers gorgeous sunset views over the Bokor National Park. There are a total of nine rooms available, two of them are located near the river and the other seven are located in their organic mango garden. Some of the rooms are more modern and are equipped with aircon, other rooms are made of wood and are equipped with a fan. All rooms are equipped with a comfortable King Size Bed and have private bathroom with hot shower. A special care has been put into the design of the rooms and some of them are treehouses which have been designed by a French architect. The restaurant serves a European and Asian Fusion Cuisine and most dishes have been created by French chefs. The restaurant is popular due to the fresh and excellent food being served as well as the friendly and professional service offered by the Cambodian Front Of House team. The bar serves fresh fruit shakes, craft beers, high end spirits, signature/classic cocktails and a nice selection of French and International wines is also available. Sabay Beach being located upstream from Kampot town gives the occasion for its guests to enjoy swimming in a non-polluted water. Reception can organise Tuktuks going from and to Kampot town (20 mins ride) or taxis going from and to Phnom Penh Airport (3 hours drive). This property is unique and famous for its service, exceptional views and greenery.

Sabay beach is a charming and peaceful resort by the river. Staff is lovely and the chef excellent! Would you want western or Asian food, both are very tasty (must try the Vanilla and lime zest panacotta and the Larp Moo! ). Atmosphere is quiet, cosy and friendly. We strongly recommend Sabay beach for a relaxing getaway!

I had a really lovely time at Sabay, the food was delicious and there was a good range of vegetarian options, which I really appreciated. The riverside room we stayed in was comfy, clean and had a beautiful view, though people with bad knees might not enjoy that the room is on two levels as the stairs are a little steep. If that's the case then I would suggest picking the garden view rooms which are on one level and also have air con. Finally the staff were amazing, they really made my stay so enjoyable and the level of care that they put into a guests experience was second to none! Thank you, will definitely visit again!

I have stayed at a number of places on the river in Kampot and Sabay Beach is the best so far. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and the riverfront and bar/restaurant area are great for relaxing and swimming in the river. The staff also provide some of the best service I've had in Cambodia - friendly, helpful and efficient. The food is also excellent, with a big choice for vegetarians, and Pheakday makes a great cocktail!

We stayed at Sabay Beach during 3 nights and we enjoyed it. Green hiden gem with wooden bridge, lot of local plants and trees, located along the river. Everything there was perfect to rest. Staff was very friendly and food was good. The room was great and bed was very confortable. We gonna come again. Thank you to Sabay Beach team.

I choose Sabay Beach to stay to recharge after busy week of water festival. From my treehouse, just at the river front, the beautiful view of mountains and river with the sound of wind touching the tree make me feel very peaceful and relaxed I wish I could stay longer here. The food and service is also top notch. I will be back
