Only about 15min from the gates of Tarangire Park. Separate permanent tent-style rooms, spread out with a view of the Great Rift Valley across Lake Manyara. Outdoor terrace for dining, wet edge pool with a bar, great after a hot day in the park. Wildebeest and zebra come up near to pool. Rooms are lovely, food a little basic but...

This was the last stop on our 2 week safari in Kenya and Tanzania, so the best was saved for last. The tents are spaced far apart so there is great privacy. They are huge with large walk in showers. Clean and well kept. There is a free happy hour by the pool each evening. The food was excellent, particularly...

We stayed here for one night at the beginning of our safari, it was a lovely lodge in a beautiful setting. The food was really good, with self service picnic lunches. They had a happy hour in the evening when we arrived from 6pm to 7pm with snacks and drinks around the pool whilst we watched the sunset over Lake...

Maramboi is a short drive from Arusha and just divine. Large very comfortable accommodations and communal lounge and dining areas. Great management but some of the staff (the Stir Fry) guy particularly are not friendly at all and verge on absolute rudeness. The Stir Fry chef should be sacked. There are so many Tanzanian's looking for work it amazes me...

Josephine was an amazing hostess and runs a terrific camp. The accommodations were terrific with spectacular Savannah type views overlooking the lake. Beds were comfortable, water was perfect with distilled water for drinking. Listening to lions, zebras and other animals as you fall to sleep was incredible. The stir fry cooking to order at dinner was a huge hit with...

We enjoyed our brief stay at Maramboi. The tented room was excellent, the food was very good. The location was nice. We had wildebeests outside our tent at night and we saw a lion near the driveway. The swimming pool was much better than expected.

We were to have two nights here but our flights did not connect so we only had one night here. I loved my brief stay though, as the cabin/tents are large and nicely appointed with very comfortable beds. Good food at the buffet, lovely views of the lake and the plains around. Really appreciate the caution the staff take in...

We loved this spot while touring Tarangarie Park. It has a very scenic location overlooking the lake with a beautiful infinity pool and restaurant area. The food was excellent as well as the attentive staff who dealt graciously with any request. The tented cabin was once of the best on our trip. Very clean with modern amenities - great large...

We were greeted at a lovely lounge area overlooking herds of zebra and wildebeest. Afterwards we were taken to our lovely tent cabins where we had a beautiful view of the sunset and the animals. It was very comfortable with a touch of luxury. The meals were generous and tasty, with a lot of variety. They also offer free walking...
