This hotel is very unique. The owners/hosts are always available and treat you like guests in their home. They seem like very caring and genuine people and took good care of us. Our tour company forget to forward our chimp trekking permits to them, but our host, Aubrey, made some calls and ensured we would still be able to get...

I agree with all the other excellent reviews of this lodge. The thing that I found a bit quirky was that my room (#5) seemed to designed for giants! The bed was very high to climb into, and the built-in night stand was a long arm's stretch from the bed. A small step stool would have come in handy. It...

I was in Uganda for work. My colleague was staying with researchers inside Kibale National Park taking cold showers and using a slit floor toilet. I was staying down the road at the Primate Lodge. On our last full day here we had lunch at this place upon the recommendation of one of the scientists. It was worth the 20...

This place is unique lodge with incredible views and outstanding hospitality. The owner makes you feel extremely welcome and the rooms are fabulous. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool after a day of trekking the chimps, complete with pool side snacks and drinks.

Good place to nest while visiting Kibale National Park to trek chimps. Whether you are watching the sun rise or set, walking around Crater lake, or looking at flowers, birds, or a multicolored lizard, it is all part of the experience. Food was great and staff lovely. A nice addition is boot and gator cleaning when you come back from...

Was lucky enough to stay here for a couple of nights around Chimp trekking. What a beautiful place - amazing views overlooking the crater lake on one side and across the valley to sunset on the other. Nice big rooms, great pool, and a lovely little lodge. What really sets it apart though are the amazing hosts and staff that...

This lodge is set not eh rim of a crater lake, giving you the best view over the lake and to the west, Ruwenzori mountains. Many times you have spectacular view of setting sun over the mountains. Of all the groups i have brought here, they rate it top on services and staff friendliness.

Beautiful location, with breath-taking views and amazing gardens. Food was excellent, atmosphere and conversations superb. Ask the host, if he has any Glen Deveron 16 year old left? Staff in the morning exceptionally helpful and lodge accommodation has unique character.

There is not much I can add to all the wonderful reviews of other customer. The location and the ambiance are simply wonderful. Sitting right on top of the hill overlooking two valleys with vulcanic lakes it offers some of the most magnificent views I ever came across; whether you are sitting on a chair next to the pool, relaxing...
